Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 30 VOICE
Ephesians 2 TPT

21 Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left.

Isaiah 30:21

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My way is the better way. My way is the dancing way, the laughing way, the fun and light-filled way. My way is truth. My way is freedom. My way is a dance toward destiny. My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. I’m calling My lovers to dance to the beat of My drum that I have put inside of them. I put different beats inside of different hearts. Dance to the one inside of you. You wonder why you struggle with rhythm? It’s because you are trying to dance to some one else’s beat. You are trying to dance to competing rhythms. Dance to the one in your heart. Live in the freedom I have granted you. This is the way, walk in it. Dance in it. I have called you to dance through life, to dance toward destiny, to move to the rhythm of My love, My voice, My instruction, My impartation of wisdom and truth. That causes a distinct beat in YOUR heart, FOR YOU.

29 In your newfound freedom, you will sing as if it’s a festival night.
With lighthearted joy, you will dance your way toward Jerusalem,
To the Eternal’s mountain, the Rock Israel can trust.

Isaiah 30:29

You can’t expect others to dance to your beat either. Just as I have given them a distinct fingerprint, so have I given them a distinct beat. They may be at a different place in the music of life than you. They may be in a completely different season than you. They may be in the process of healing or learning something that is totally apart from you. Don’t compete. Don’t compare. Simply dance to the song of truth that I have placed in your heart. Dance to the music at the place it is now. Don’t go back to repeat old stanzas, and don’t skip ahead. You can’t read that complex section yet. You be you, dancing to the beat that I have put in your heart for right this moment, and let others do the same.

“We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!”

Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Now where it gets fun is where you exchange notes in joy. Sometimes it can become a duet. As you learn and speak and talk to one another about your own sheet music of the heart, it can become a duet, a trio, a quartet and even a symphony. As you each play the sheet music I have placed on your hearts, and you each rise up in your individual song gift, in unity, it becomes a beautiful, stunning symphonic delight. So don’t get drawn off task or off key or off beat. Do exactly what I have put on your sheet, on the sheet music of your heart to do. And watch the glorious symphonic exchange that comes with rich, unified, community where each player is confident in the part I have written for them to play. No two are alike. Some complement each other and are meant to be played together continuously. Dance and play to the sheet music I have written on your heart, and find ones with whom you can play and exchange who are doing the same.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord, show me how to be singularly focused on You and to move to the rhythm You have tailor-designed for me. Help me to be exactly who You made me to be, and help me to do it with all joy, with confidence and with an openness that invites others to do the same.
  • Declare, the Lord has written individual parts of His music for each of us to dance to, play to and enjoy.
  • Decree, I will dance to the music the Lord has written for me. I will be exactly who He made me to be. I will live in the freedom that comes with being authentically me. I will pursue community and live openly and confidently — unapologetically — in what the Lord has called me to do.
