Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 61

10 I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.

Isaiah 61:10-11

The Lord says,
Victory upon victory upon victory will cause defeat to fall like dominoes. Things that were settled, decided, dead and gone will certainly be overtaken by victory. Victory is emerging from the ashes. Victory is springing up from death, darkness and the grave like very eager plants in spring. Victory is springing up with a knockout punch. It will be like you wake up one morning and victories will have sprouted up all around. What was dead and barren soil will be transformed over night into a land of conquering victories. Decisive victories. Final victories. Transformative victories. Victories that change everything.

61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:1-3

These are days of the emergence and eruption of many victories. They will cause the earth to shake. They will cause many to be knocked right off of their feet. Some will be delighted to be knocked off of their feet by the surprise emergence of these victories. They will roll and laugh on the ground in pure delight and rapture. Others will wet themselves with terror, knowing that these victories mean their imminent demise. Being swept off of your feet isn’t a bad thing — it’s all about your mindset and the team for whom you are playing. These victories will come upon the wicked like rapidly creeping vines. They will entangle them and ensnare them, and render them immobile. Those who are knocked off their feet and relishing every minute of these victories will bounce back up, will jump, shout and race forward to where they can lend a hand.

7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion,
And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion.
Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land,
Everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 For I, the Lord, love justice,
I hate robbery in the burnt offering;
And I will faithfully give them their recompense
And make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isaiah 61:7-8

These are days of great advancements. Victory will overtake victory will overtake yet another victory. Those newly placed in the realm of defeat will be screeching and moaning in horror. Their time is up. They will finally see and understand that their time is up. But those who are on the side of the many victories, the majority, the people will burst with celebration, and they will dance with delight.

4 Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.

Isaiah 61:4

Get ready to leave the back foot. Get ready to be the ones celebrating, to be the ones on the winning team, to be the ones ecstatic with joy and mocking the loss of the losers. Prepare yourself for victories as far as the eye can see. Victory does come with responsibility, so prepare yourself for that too. These are truly days like none you have ever known or been told. These are days when victories rise from the grave and absolutely demolish defeat.

How to Respond

  • Trust and obey the Word of the Lord.
  • Encourage and strengthen yourself in the Lord. Don’t allow what you see around you to dictate your state of mind or your faith for the future.
  • Pray, Lord, thank You that You are the God of overcoming, of resurrection and victorious life. Thank You for never lying and never losing. Thank You for saving me, for protecting me and for hiding me in the safety of your wings.
  • Declare, we will experience many defeats being resurrected as victories. We will see victory overtake victory overtake victory for those on the side of what’s right and for those on those on the side of the Lord.
  • Decree,
    Victory after victory will emerge from the grave.
    Those on the side of what’s right will dance, sing and celebrate with great delight at the emergence of these unexpected victories.
    Those who have done the work of the enemy and have refused every opportunity to do what is right will be consumed by the consequences of their choices in the face of these victories.
    The Lord will cause MANY victories to suddenly spring forth, and these will bring great celebration and great responsibility to those on the winning side.
