Night’s darkness is dissolving away as a new day of destiny dawns. So we must once and for all strip away what is done in the shadows of darkness, removing it like filthy clothes. And once and for all we clothe ourselves with the radiance of light as our weapon. We must live honorably, surrounded by the light of this new day, not in the darkness of drunkenness and debauchery, not in promiscuity and sensuality, not being argumentative or jealous of others. Instead fully immerse yourselves into the Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, and don’t waste even a moment’s thought on your former identity to awaken its selfish desires.
Romans 13:12-14
Pure Fun
The Lord says,
I Am making hearts merry. I Am a God of delights. I delight in your delight. I delight in delighting you. The enemy is a liar and has caused many to believe that I Am a punisher and hate fun. Nothing could be further from the truth. I created fun.
The enemy has twisted the definition of fun, and has caused the idea of fun for many to be associated with perverse and unholy things. Those things are not fun. They may cause pleasure in the moment, but there are always consequences to this kind of fun.
I bring fun with no consequences. When you are aligned with purity, you can enjoy fun with no regrets. Let Me redefine fun for you. Let Me change your mind.
When you are with Me, when you are walking with Me, those old things, the sin that was once called fun, that many still say is fun – those things hold no value and no appeal. What appeals is true connection, laughter, playing and innocence.
Don’t let the enemy lie to you about fun.
Changing Minds
The Lord says,
I’m healing minds that were once ravaged by drug use. I’m healing minds that once lived for momentary pleasure and left many broken hearts in their wake. I’m healing minds that were jumbled up and don’t operate properly through no cause of their own. I’m restoring right thinking and a right perspective.
Eyes and minds and hearts will see, will understand the lies that they believed, and they will be overwhelmed. They will be humbled, and they will be repentant. They will find freedom at My feet, they will find forgiveness at My feet. They will find wholeness at My feet. They will find redemption at My feet. They will find new life at My feet.
It will be a beautiful thing. And it will have a domino effect because of the forgiveness they seek from those they once hurt, because of the many people that see the radical change in them. It will be a redemption domino effect.
What you are seeing in the news – the reports of chaos and rancor, division and hate. This is the opposite of that. This is healing the root of that. This is the beginning of the end of that.
Freedom for the Prisoners
The Lord says,
I Am moving in jail cells. I Am getting ahold of what you would view as some of the scariest people out there. I say, no, they are not scary, they are Mine. They are My children. They are the ones I’m going after, and they will be redeemed. Many many in the jails will become fierce warriors, fearless preachers of the Pure Gospel. And it will be a sight to behold.
Watch out preachers with no spine. These newly redeemed, on fire, fearless warriors for Christ are coming to your church. And if you don’t stand up, straighten up and and get strong in Me, get strong on the unvarnished un-sugar coated truth, they’re coming for your pulpit.
These are days just in front of you, starting now – these are days of many remarkable things. These are the days of remarkable stories that will live for generations.
These are the days of glorious, wild, unexpected turnarounds. These are the days of unexpected, unpredictable redemptions.
The joy and the purity, the healing and the truth. These are marks of My Move. My Glorious Kingdom Move.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord. Ask Him to help you unpack wrong thinking about fun, about Him, about you. Ask Him to point out these areas to you, and ask Him to change your mind.
- Ask the Lord to bring to mind something pure and fun that you can do – either just with Him or with someone close to you. Make real fun a priority, and the other kind – the former fun that comes with regret – will lose its luster.
- Pray for revival and for the grace-filled Move of God to come to jails and prisons. Declare that the Lord has redemption in mind for all of these men and women, and that their mistakes and their sins will not define them any longer.
