Today’s Reading:
Philippians 2
Look at how much encouragement you’ve found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with his comforting love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt his tender affection and mercy.
Philippians 2:1 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
This is a year marked by surrender. This is a year of laying things down — laying ego down, laying ambition down, laying agendas down, laying your entire life and self down and submitting your heart, mind and life to service through the awe of the grace of King Jesus. The awe of Jesus, the rapt awe of Jesus is grabbing ahold of people’s hearts and pulling them down, prostrate before Him. These rapt hearts are soaring in freedom, in the bliss of love, deliverance and acceptance. These hearts and minds are becoming laser-focused on purpose, calling and destiny through Christ and for the cause of Christ. Every vocation, every role is an opportunity to exalt and reflect the Name of precious Jesus, our Lord, Savior, Priest and King.
The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!
Philippians 2:10-11 TPT
This is a year of rapt worship, of reverence, of lowering names and titles beneath the Name and position, beneath the authority and grace, beneath the kingship of King Jesus. This is a time where He is exalted and His Name is lifted high. Hearts are aligning into proper position for worship and service. Stale religion, frilly fake gospel messages all fall to the ground here. The gold of the pure, unadulterated Gospel of Christ and His Kingdom will shine, and all that glitters but is not gold will fall to the ground and be swept away. Desire for false narratives and palliative care gospel is dead.
God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him. Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves. For then you will be seen as innocent, faultless, and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture. For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe,
Philippians 2:13-15 TPT
Truth, power, purity and Jesus above all is the heart’s cry in this time. May His Name be exalted, and may I be found in service to My King. That is heart’s cry of lovers, of worshippers, of free ones in this time. They won’t be distracted or allured by another, by the false. Their eyes and heart are only for their King.
How to Respond
- Stir up affection for the Lord. Ask Him what needs to be removed from your life, so He is completely Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for leading us into all truth. Thank You that when I draw near to You, You draw nearer to me. Help me to honestly assess my life and heart posture. I want to be aligned with Your heart in this season. I want to be one whose life is poetry to my King.
- Declare, We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it! – Ephesians 2:10
- Decree, I surrender all I am and all I have, every label, position and title to King Jesus. I have no ambition but to exalt His Name and serve His beautiful, worthy, brilliant purposes in the Earth. I will see many drop their egos and bow in submission, through grace and overwhelmed love to the Name, heart and will of King Jesus.
