Ephesians 2
”“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!“
John 14:27 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My peace is settling on My children like a soft, comforting blanket. It will be with you for the road ahead. Settle in until you find me in the silence. Stay there long enough — waiting upon Me, meditating upon Me, worshipping Me — that the silence and the empty space begins to fill and you can sense the residue of My Presence. Then you can sense and become overpowered, overwhelmed with the thickness of My Presence. Learn to wait on Me. This is a season in which I Am training you to wait upon My Presence, to tend the fire of the altar of My Presence.
”Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.“
John 14:23 TPT
This is a time to not rush in and rush out but to wait upon Me, minister to Me and to find yourself more connected, more touched, more soaked by My glory, by My Presence than you have ever been — right there in the secret place, right there in the solitary place, right there in the place, that silent empty place you created for Me to come and dwell. I have made you a habitation, and you have responded in kind. You have faithfully created a place, a space, an opening in which you have invited Me to dwell. I will come and dwell with you. Don’t get impatient. Don’t give up. Be entwined as one with the Lord. It is My good will and pleasurable to dwell with you. I love for you to seek Me out. This is the time of the deeper things, of the meatier teaching, of the greater revelation. Your tenacity in the secret place, your resilience in waiting on Me, your dogged pursuit of My face will train you with the strength you’ll need to carry all of these greater things.
”You are rising like the perfectly fitted stones of the temple; and your lives have been built up together upon the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, and best of all, you are connected to the Head Cornerstone of the building, the Anointed One, Jesus Christ himself! This entire building is under construction and is continually growing under his supervision until it rises up completed as the holy temple of the Lord himself. This means that God is transforming each one of you into the Holy of Holies, his dwelling place, through the power of the Holy Spirit living in you!“
Ephesians 2:20-22 TPT
These are not days as usual. These are unusual days with unusual weight and unusual responsibility for those who carry My Name, and bear the weight of the revelation I give. These are days of flames in hearts burning hotter and higher and of mouths erupting spontaneously in praise. These are unusual days that match My unusual work. It may all seem murky, smoky, cloudy, but My voice in your heart, the flame of passion that has erupted within you that is connected to My Spirit, because it is one with My Spirit, will lead you forward. You are torch bearers of My Name and Presence. Don’t give up in the secret place. The silence is a testing ground and a training ground for the weight of that for which I have designed for you to carry. Do the weight training in the secret place, and you will carry it in the assembly.
How to Respond
- Pursue the Lord in the silent, secret place that you create for Him daily. Don’t give up if you can’t immediately hear His voice. Stay there and welcome Him in until He comes.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come and dwell with me. Thank You for the peace You have put upon me. Thank You that You are training me to carry a weightier anointing, a greater revelation and a meatier teaching. Help me to wait on You and to be patient, trusting for the arrival of Your Presence.
- Declare, where the Spirit of the Lord reigns, there is freedom. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
- Decree, I will wait upon the Lord. I will invite His Presence into my life daily and continually. I will not be deterred or discouraged by the silence. I will be a king and a priest to the Lord my God, faithfully searching out His Presence and tending the fire of His altar.
