Today’s Reading:
John 15
“The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.”
John 15:3-4 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Dwell with Me. Make Me the dwelling of your abode. Dwell with Me. Live in intimacy and truth with Me. Live purely, truly, freely as you dwell with Me, in Me. Let everything else fade away. Make Me central, cardinal, chief and ruler. I Am the King of Kings and the Lord of all and above all. I’m inviting you to dwell with Me. Where else would you want to live? With who else would you want to be?
“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!”
John 15:5-8 TPT
Dwell with Me. Build your life in Mine. Sketch out your dreams with Me. Ours is a great white vista. Let’s plan the future together. Let’s sketch out our dreams together. Let’s share our heart desires and our deep, deep longings. Let’s see how we can build them together. I have invited you in to dwell with Me, to commune with Me, to dream with Me, to plan with Me and to build with Me. What is there that you can dream that we cannot achieve together? I Am the author and perfecter of your faith. And you are the apple of My eye. Dwell with Me. Commune with Me. Dream with Me. Get excited with Me. Plan with Me. Dream even bigger with Me, and build with Me. This is life in the Spirit. This is the life of the abiding ones who live entwined in Me as branches to the vine.
“I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate and cherished friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you!”
John 15:15-16 TPT
This is a season to be grounded in abiding. This is a season to be settled in your choice, in your acceptance of My invitation to dwell with Me. This is a season of dreaming with Me, casting vision with Me, throwing the net farther to dream even bigger and then building with Me. This is not complacency. This is intimacy. This is not fantasy. This is life in the Spirit. These are not pipe dreams. They are God dreams, and I will breathe on them, and we will bring them to life, together. This is a season of intimacy and miracles. So make your choice. Come, My dear one, and dwell with Me.
How to Respond
- Accept the Lord’s invitation to intimacy. Make time to dream, plan and build with Him.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your invitation to dwell with You, dream with You, plan with You and build with You. Help me to shut out and shut off everything that hinders me from intimacy with You. Help me to abide with You and to make time to dream and plan with You, the Lord of all.
- Declare, this is a season to dwell, dream, plan and build with the Lord.
- Decree, I accept the Lord’s invitation to intimacy, to dwelling, dreaming, planning and building with Him. I will remove every distraction and hindrance, so I can be correctly positioned in and connected to the Lord in this season.
