62 1-5 Regarding Zion, I can’t keep my mouth shut,
Isaiah 62:1-5 MSG
regarding Jerusalem, I can’t hold my tongue,
Until her righteousness blazes down like the sun
and her salvation flames up like a torch.
Foreign countries will see your righteousness,
and world leaders your glory.
You’ll get a brand-new name
straight from the mouth of God.
You’ll be a stunning crown in the palm of God’s hand,
a jeweled gold cup held high in the hand of your God.
No more will anyone call you Rejected,
and your country will no more be called Ruined.
You’ll be called Hephzibah (My Delight),
and your land Beulah (Married),
Because God delights in you
and your land will be like a wedding celebration.
For as a young man marries his virgin bride,
so your builder marries you,
And as a bridegroom is happy in his bride,
so your God is happy with you.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for You. My power is made perfect in weakness. Change is here — Earth-stopping change, change so big it will feel like the Earth’s rotation has changed direction, has reversed course. Earth-stopping change is here. Monumental reversal that brings everything along with it is here. We are changing course. I have hit the brakes, and we are changing course. It will feel like a sharp right turn, but it will be a U-turn. We will make a sharp turn to the right, to what’s right, and we will fully turn around and change course. This is a time of reversal. This is a time of about faces. This is a time of wholesale repositioning. This is a time where I set things back on the right track. Where the world has veered way off-course, I Am turning it around. I Am making a massive reversal, and I Am setting you back on the right track.
7 I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem.
Isaiah 62:7-9 MSG
Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out,
reminding God to remember.
They are to give him no peace until he does what he said,
until he makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise.
8-9 God has taken a solemn oath,
an oath he means to keep:
“Never again will I open your grain-filled barns
to your enemies to loot and eat.
Never again will foreigners drink the wine
that you worked so hard to produce.
No. The farmers who grow the food will eat the food
and praise God for it.
And those who make the wine will drink the wine
in my holy courtyards.”
Change is here. A big shifting of gears is here. A big turnaround is here, and getting locked onto the right track is here. I’ve heard the cry for change. I’ve seen the repentant hearts and the mourning of the faithful. I will set you back on the right track. I will set this nation back on the right track. America will waver no longer. She will equivocate no longer. She will return to a beacon of power, strength, hospitality and truth. She will hear from Me, and she will be a show-er of strength. She will plow boldly ahead as I call her. She will not equivocate or be tossed from one side to the other. She will be solid, strong, immovable and decisive again. She will rest in the knowledge that I Am the stability of your times, and she will keep her eyes locked on Me.
10-12 Walk out of the gates. Get going!
Isaiah 62:10-12 MSG
Get the road ready for the people.
Build the highway. Get at it!
Clear the debris,
hoist high a flag, a signal to all peoples!
Yes! God has broadcast to all the world:
“Tell daughter Zion, ‘Look! Your Savior comes,
Ready to do what he said he’d do,
prepared to complete what he promised.’”
Zion will be called new names: Holy People, God-Redeemed,
Sought-Out, City-Not-Forsaken.
America shall be free. I will put her back squarely on the right track, and she will not be shaken out of position. Freedom and truth will be prized in America again. They will be raised high in America again. Liberty and justice for all will be the banner over America again.
How to Respond
- Spend time in worship, thanking the Lord for the reversal He is bringing that will set America back on the right track again.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Do the work that only You can do. Hit the brakes, and turn this country around to what is right. Bring a monumental reversal that holds many, many smaller reversals within it. Bring change that answers prayer and returns the eyes and hearts of this nation and our leaders to You. Restore righteous leadership. Restore justice, truth and the faithfulness of the people. Turn us around Lord for the future of the generations of the world and for Your Name’s sake.
- Declare, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. He raises leaders up, and He takes leaders down. He is the sovereign King of the universe. He is Lord of all. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Nothing is impossible with Him. He is the God who overcomes and overturns. He is the one who sets things to right.
- Decree, I am living in the days of the great reversal of the sovereign Lord. I will partner with Him and do the work He has called me to do. I will not sit back. I will not wait and watch. I will be busy about My Father’s business. I will praise and offer thanksgiving to my Lord as expectancy for change rises in my heart. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. America shall be saved.
