Psalm 62
I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?
Psalms 62:1-2 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Purity befits a king. The stillness is Mine. You can find Me in the stilllness. You can find Me in the silence. Mine is the peace that calms raging rivers and stops dams. My peace changes things. Create room for Me. Create a space where you can find Me in the silence, in the stillness, even in the dark. Mine is the Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Yet more shaking is coming. More shaking is here. You can look on from this protected zone inside of My peace as the world totters, shakes and sways. You have no need to be moved. Your anchor is securely fastened to Me. I have provided this safe place, this protected covering, this zone of perfect peace to shelter you from the storm and to be a refuge for you in the shaking.
I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. For he alone is my safe place. His wraparound presence always protects me as my champion defender. There’s no risk of failure with God! So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? God’s glory is all around me! His wraparound presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength.
Psalms 62:5-7 TPT
There’s no need to venture outside of this provided protective zone. Everything you need for life and godlinesss is found in Me. You can work in this zone. You can run in this zone. This zone can surround you wherever you go. You need not be afraid. You need not slow your pace. I Am with you always. Remain in Me. I will give you peace, and I will be your peace. As the shaking intensifies, so do the number of those who come knocking on your zone looking for entry, looking for a shelter from the storm. This is your chance. You must tell them that I Am the way, the truth and the life. I Am the entry point to this zone of immovable peace.
Join me everyone! Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence
Psalms 62:8 TPT
Your job is not to let chaos inside this protected zone of peace. It is to point all who desire this deep abiding peace to Me. Point them to My way, My Name. Point them to My great salvation, and point them to a Kingdom lifestyle, to purpose and to life everlasting. They are fruit of the shaking. Remain in Me. Don’t be deterred. Don’t be moved off your mark. You belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. In Me you can find perfect rest, perfect peace, and you have access to all you need.
How to Respond
- Remain in the Lord. Stay inside of His provided zone of protected peace.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that nothing surprises You, nothing shocks You and nothing catches You off-guard. Thank You for being the Prince of Peace and the source of all peace. Help me to remain in You and Your zone of protected peace as the shaking intensifies. Help me to be one who introduces many who are living outside of Your peace to You and show them the way to Your great peace.
- Declare, the Kingdom of the Lord cannot be shaken. He cannot be moved.
- Decree, I belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. I will abide in the perfect peace provided by the Lord. I will not wander outside of His peace, and I will not give chaos an entry point to this peace. I will remain in Him, and He will remain in Me. I will point all who desire this peace to trust in King Jesus.
