Today’s Readings:
Psalm 27
Psalm 105
Isaiah 55
43 And He led out His people with joy,
Psalm 105:43-45
His chosen ones with a joyful shout.
44 He also gave them the lands of the nations,
So that they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples’ labor,
45 And that they might keep His statutes
And comply with His laws;
Praise the Lord!
Praise is a Weapon
The Lord says,
Praise is a mighty weapon. Praise is a powerful defensive and offensive strategy. Praise causes the forces of darkness to flee. Praise moves you closer to My Presence, closer to My heart. Praise is a fearsome weapon. Use praise to defeat the swirling thoughts, the uncertainties that taunt you, the pressures that are trying to suffocate you. Use praise to beat these back. Use praise to magnify Me in your view, so that you can see properly that I Am greater, mightier, bigger than all of the troubles and difficulties and threats facing you. Praise will shift your perspective. Praise puts things in the right perspective and eases the tension in your body and the anxiety in your heart.
5 For on the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle;
Psalm 27:5-6
He will hide me in the secret place of His tent;
He will lift me up on a rock.
6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,
And I will offer sacrifices in His tent with shouts of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
Praise causes giants to fall. It breaks down walls, and it brings a great triumph with it. The only damage done by praise is to the forces of darkness coming against you. So praise. Worship. Magnify My Name. Get your perspective right. Get your heart and mind to see things from the right perspective. Don’t allow these troubles and and pressures and uncertainties to choke you. Push them back with praise.
An Anointing of Vision
The Lord says,
I Am anointing My lovers with the oil of gladness. It’s an anointing of hope and vision.
For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
Habakkuk 2:3
It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it delays, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.
I Am restoring vision to those who have been tossed by the waves of adversity in this great storm. I Am causing fresh vision to rise in their hearts and minds, a new spark of creativity to light their eyes, and a hope and firm conviction that I will indeed bring to pass the things that I have caused to blossom in their heart. The storm will indeed not last forever. It won’t even last much longer. Soon and very soon, for some even before the storm is over, new vision and new realities will begin to take shape. This is happening even now.
10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
Isaiah 55:10-11
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it produce and sprout,
And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.
The anointing oil of gladness, of vision, of hope comes with the grace to pull these things into reality. Stand in faith. Say no to darkness and unbelief. Declare that I will do what I said I will do, and that none of My promises will fall to the ground without producing my purposes.
Fortify your mind by declaring out loud My promises to you specifically and My promises through scripture. This builds your faith, and it activates angels to to help fulfill these promises. It is a beautiful time to be alive. Choose faith. Ask for My anointing of gladness, vision, and hope. Stand in faith that I have given you the grace to pull these new desires and dreams into reality, and that you have everything you need to accomplish the work set before you. Stand in your birthright as a faith-filled, grace-filled believer in Jesus, the Messiah and One True King. Watch My grace, My favor and My mercies flow over you as a fragrant oil being poured out from Heaven. Soak in My Presence, and choose to hold firmly to the new vision I Am depositing in your heart. It will not fail. I do not fail.
14 Wait for the Lord;
Psalm 27:14
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord.
