Today’s Readings:

Psalm 147-149
2 Samuel 22:1-23:7

6 God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths,
for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!
7 These warring weapons will bring vengeance
on the nations and every resistant power—
8 to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles.
9 Praise-filled warriors will enforce
the judgment decreed against their enemies.
This is the honor he gives to all his godly lovers.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Psalm 149:6-9

The Lord says,
Be a fighter for good. Be one who always takes a stand for what is right. Be one with a backbone of iron and eyes of steel against the darkness and wayward ways. Be one whose being is filled with purity and truth, whose life is drenched in My love and the glory of My Presence. Fight for the good. Fight for what is right. Take a stand and don’t back down. Put on your armor, and don’t back away from confrontation with the darkness. This is your land. This is the the place of your authority. Evil, darkness, chaos and mayhem have no place here. Chase out and expel every spirit that is not of Me. Drive out every pollutant and every corrupting spirit. Be one who wars and fights for what is good, righteous, holy, pure and of Me.

5 “If my house were not right with God,
surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant,
arranged and secured in every part;
surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation
and grant me my every desire.

2 Samuel 23:5

Be one whose homeland and whose boundary lines are secure. Let no unclean thing approach the property that you own. This is your place of greatest authority. Secure the borders of your own property and your own home. Switch off every polluting device that brings darkness into your home. Clear the air and the airwaves. Make this a holy place. Make this sanctified space. Make this holy ground. Use your authority. Use your voice. Use your will, discernment and discipline to to drive out and make unwelcome every dark thing. This is your land, your home, your family. When you war and you fight with My Words wrapped in My Presence, the darkness trembles. Stand up in your authority. Cause the darkness, the destructive forces coming against your mind, your body, your home and your family to cower and to flee.

32 For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
33 It is God who arms me with strength
and keeps my way secure.
34 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he causes me to stand on the heights.
35 He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36 You make your saving help my shield;
your help has made me great.
37 You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way.
38
“I pursued my enemies and crushed them;
I did not turn back till they were destroyed.

2 Samuel 22:32-38

Rise up in your authority. Rise up in the full armor of God. Rise up and take the authority and the place that is rightfully yours. Do not bow or be overcome by the adversary. Stand in your royal robes of righteousness as My child, and be one who stands in authority, in power. Be one who fights for good, who wars and wins for the benefit of all under your care. Look around. See what I have put under your care, and care for it as a fierce warrior. Let none of it be stolen or touched by darkness. Darkness has no place in the homes of sons and daughters of light. Force the darkness out. Make the difficult decisions. Stand in discipline, with conviction for the sake of those under your charge. Let no dark thing enter. Force the darkness to flee. Don’t bring it or allow it into your home – not on a screen or in any form. Fight with the fierceness of a roaring lion protecting her den. Walk and declare righteousness and holiness over your boundary lines.

12 Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, worship your God!
13 For he has strengthened the authority of your gates.
He even blesses you with more children.
14 He’s the one who brings peace to your borders,
feeding you the most excellent of fare.

Psalm 147:12-14

Invite joy and laughter. Invite My Presence, goodness, kindness and favor to your property, your family and your home. Be a warrior and a fighter for what is good. Cause the darkness to flee. Secure your home and your borders.
