Today’s Reading:
1 Corinthians 2
Hebrews 8

”For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power. However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.“

1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Grace is coming in like a deluge. Grace is coming in like an unanticipated flash flood. You will find yourself suddenly drenched and covered by My grace where moments before you were dry. Some of you will feel a storm approaching, and you will be wary of the storm. You will see the dark clouds and feel the winds rising. I have hidden My grace in the storm, and I will pour it out generously on the sheep of My pasture. Fear not the storm. Fear not the call into service that catches you off-guard. My grace will catch you, will drench you, will pour out generously on you, and it will equip you for every good deed. It will equip you for the service to which you are sent.

”For here is the covenant I will one day establish with the people of Israel: I will embed my laws within their thoughts and fasten them onto their hearts. I will be their loyal God and they will be my loyal people. And the result of this will be that everyone will know me as Lord! There will be no need at all to teach their fellow-citizens or brothers by saying, ‘You should know Yahweh,’ since everyone will know me inwardly, from the most unlikely to the most distinguished. For I will demonstrate my mercy to them and will forgive their evil deeds, and never remember again their sins.”“

Hebrews‬ ‭8‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

These are days of gathering storm clouds, of visible signs of darkness approaching, and it will be clear to all that the storms are near and incoming. But I will pour out My great grace for service, for equipping, for love and for the fight onto My sheep who know My voice. My grace is concealed in the storm and will even be poured out generously from the clouds of the storm itself. My mission is hidden. It is written on the tablets of your heart, and My grace will activate a response in the days of the storms. You are undercover agents, and you didn’t even know it. I will activate you by My grace. As the storm pours out its wrath, you will see that I have purpose in it. As the storm reveals the spiritual clash that has been mounting and building and playing out as skirmishes before your eyes, you will see the forces behind the spiritual war clash. Yet My favor and My grace will pour out on you and for you.

”But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God. For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words.“

1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You have no need to fear the storm. It is the place from which My great provision, favor and grace will flow for you and to you. You can remain calm and even in great anticipation of anointing and assignment as you watch these storm clouds approach. For My lovers, I will catch you in flash floods of My grace and heavy, heavy downpours of My great grace and love before the storm, in the midst of the storm. And even for years after the storm, these sudden downpours of My grace will catch you and give you what you need for the moment, the assignment or the days ahead.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord no matter what you see.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that Your plans, Your ways and Your timing is perfect. Thank You for being the Lord of all. Help me to keep my eyes on You and live with the excited anticipation of a warrior at his station. I want to be right where You want me to be, doing the work You’ve called me to do. I want to experience these great outpourings and flash floods of grace in my life that equip me and lead me into the service that You call me into in those moments.
  • Declare, The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Times, seasons, equipping and promotion belong to Him.
  • Decree, I will walk with the Lord my God. I will not fear the storm or the great spiritual clash. I will walk boldly and humbly with confidence in the faithfulness of the Lord of all. He will prepare and equip me for every deed and service into which He calls me. I will see the Lord’s provision, grace and love flood me and my family generously in the midst of the storm.
