Today’s Readings:
Proverbs 3
John 15
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
Proverbs 3:5-8
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
7 Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
8 It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones.
The Lord says,
Get ready. Get your house in order. Get organized. Have your systems in place. Clean house. Get rid of excess baggage and things that no longer serve you. It’s time for a deep cleaning. It’s time for your life to be fit for purpose. It’s time for upgrades and renovations. All of this takes hard determined work on your part. Get your house in order. Get your deep cleaning gloves on, and and invite me in to point out what cleaning in your heart, life, mind and home needs to be done. This is a time where humility is key to getting where you need to be — for how your life needs to be positioned as well as your heart and your mind.
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
John 15:9-11
I Am calling for a great decluttering of your life. I’m calling for you to identify what is needed, what adds value, what adds joy and life and what only sucks away time, adds stress and darkness your heart and mind. It’s time to get rid of those things that are not bringing true life, joy and value. It’s time to do a deep cleanse that covers every corner of your life. This is not a time for sentimentality. This is a time for honest reflection and ruthless uprooting of all which does not serve. This is how you lighten your load. This is how the air in your home and life gets clear.
13 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
Proverbs 3:13-18
and the one who gets understanding,
14 for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
15 She is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed.
It’s time to clear the way for fresh ways of receiving from Me, but I will only do this in a renovated and pure heart. As you are relentless in retooling your life, cleaning out old habits, old thought patterns, old mindsets and old ways, watch as I come in and join your process. I will come in and bring fresh prophetic insight, fresh revelation — and they will be the new hallmarks of your purified and cleansed heart. What has worked before will not work well here. You will see that your systems and processes will not get you as far as they once did. Ask Me for wisdom. Ask Me to show you how to rearrange things, to rearrange your life to accommodate and to be positioned for the new.
14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
John 15:14-16
With this new life — this new purified, rearranged, reprioritized life — will come what feels like almost systematized blessing. You have to be prepared. You have to have your life, home and heart in order so that you can receive this abundant overflow of blessing. It needs these new systems, these new eyes, this new level of purity, this new level of prioritization and organization to be able to fit into your life and calling. It is My glory and My grace to do this all with you. The first bit may seem work intensive, but you will see immediate satisfaction from the newfound space in your heart and life. You will see the weights lifting and the light coming in with the removal of that which has not been serving you well. Get into the process. Enjoy it. Immerse yourself fully in the process. It will lighten your load, ease your mind and free up time and space for the new that is coming.
How to Respond
- Bless the Lord. Thank Him for His faithfulness, His goodness and His perfect instruction.
- Pray, Lord, show me where to start with getting my life, mind, heart and home in order. What do I need to get rid of? What do I need to prioritize? What do I need to give away? What needs cleaning? Show me Lord how to be well positioned and well prepared for what You are bringing.
- Declare, the Lord is giving instruction and wisdom for how to prepare for the next season and how to open our lives up for blessing and grace.
- Decree, I will not hold on to anything the Lord asks me to let go of. I will not be sentimental when it comes to clearing out, cleaning out and reprioritizing my life at the leading of the Lord. I will be well positioned for the change, the new and the blessing of the Lord.
