Today’s Reading:
1 Corinthians 2
However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.
1 Corinthians 2:6-9 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all grace say,
My grace is a key designed to unlock your heart. Only the Master, the Creator knows what secrets have been hidden in there for your delight and your future. I Am unlocking your heart with My Master Key. And a whole universe of purpose, dreams, desires and song will flow from you in a new way. This is what I do for My lovers. What has been locked inside, what has been hidden inside even from your own view, perception and understanding will suddenly flow forth with a new sound, as a new song. It will amaze you. I Am opening your eyes and your heart to things you never knew would excite you, delight you, and cause passion to rise wildly from the deepest parts of you. But I Am unlocking that now, and life will look different. Possibilities will look vastly different, the road of travel will shift dramatically, and it will be like a whole new you has been layered on top of the you you once knew.
But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 TPT
People watching and those who know you well will smile and laugh and say things like, they saw it all along. They knew it all along. They could perceive these dreams and gifts and talents inside of you when you had no way to see them. They will be filled with delight as you come into a full measure of purpose, a full measure of destiny. They will see that I have unlocked the secrets of your heart, the purposes and plans that I had for you from long before time began. It will be obvious and a delight, a great marker of fulfillment and My hand at work to those who know you and love you. It will be seen as the best has come to you. You will marvel differently, because you have been operating from a place of nearly complete unawareness of these gifts, talents, dreams and purposes that you have been carrying all this time in your heart. I had them hidden in darkness, and now I am unlocking them. I Am releasing them as a beautiful new song, and this new sound will mark your life.
For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words. Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God.
1 Corinthians 2:12-15 TPT
Such a beautiful new sound will mark your life. It will be distinct as your fingerprint. It will be only yours, and it will make a great difference. Today I am unlocking your heart. Watch and be astonished as I reveal to you what’s in there. You will be amazed to see it, though so many around you have seen it plainly all along. This is a new day of unlocked destiny.
How to Respond
- Yield to the unlocking of your heart by the Lord. Invite Him to come and unlock all that He desires to reveal.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that Your plans and purposes for me are for my good, to give me a future and a hope. Thank You that You tailor-made me with purposes and a destiny that I can barely even understand yet. I yield to Your unlocking of my heart as a little child, expectantly and full of wonder — ready to be delighted and amazed.
- Declare, Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. – 1 Corinthians 2:9 TPT
- Decree, I yield myself and my heart fully to the Lord. I will watch and be amazed as He unlocks my heart to reveal plans, purposes, a new song and destiny that I could have never imagined. I will not hold tightly to what I know or what I find to be comfortable. I will run boldly and with abandon alongside the Lord into this new day of destiny, delight and purpose He has for me. I will bring forth a new song on the Earth. My sound will make a great difference.
