Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 41-43
8 “But you, Israel, My servant,
Isaiah 41:8-10
Jacob whom I have chosen,
Descendant of Abraham My friend,
9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth,
And called from its remotest parts
And said to you, ‘You are My servant,
I have chosen you and not rejected you.
10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for change. My grace is stirring up change and creating change. My grace is moving pieces and parts around. My grace is rearranging things according to My desire and My purposes. I Am rearranging aspects of peoples lives. I Am causing things to not function as they once did. I Am causing the parts to move and shift and change. I Am taking old parts out and putting new parts in. I Am causing possibilities to hover and swirl above the heads of many, waiting for them to say yes, waiting for them to reach out and grab them, to clear space for them in their lives. I Am upsetting entire tables that have been set by people. For some, there is a simple rearranging. For some, there is a complete changing out of the pieces that make up life as you know it. My grace is behind the movement, the change, the rearranging, the reprioritization. My grace is actually what’s causing the discomfort and even the pain of the status quo. It’s My grace that has initiated the pain that will push you out of your cocoon into the world changed, new and vibrant. It’s My grace that is disrupting, bringing invitations and scattering plans into a thousand unreconcilable pieces.
9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Isaiah 42:9-10
Now I declare new things;
Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”
10 Sing to the Lord a new song,
Sing His praise from the end of the earth!
You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it.
You islands, and those who dwell on them.
My grace is here with an invitation into the new that I have put in your heart and in your mind’s eye, in your imagination. My grace is actually going to make it easier for you to make total and complete change than it will be to stay as things are. My grace is what is making it very difficult for you to stay and continue as you have been and done. The structure and the rhythm of your life is changing, and it is My grace that is doing that. Old habits will start to feel heavy and clunky and like they no longer work. Old ways of thinking will feel like huge blocks to progress, to vision and to imagination and future. My grace is causing you to recognize that the utility of these is now outdated and expired. It’s time to ask for new ways of thinking, new ways of operating, for new strategies and new keys. The old ones just don’t fit anymore, and forcing them only makes things harder.
My grace is here for change. My grace is spreading change above you like a great table setting of possibilities that is here for the taking. It’s okay to drop the old ways. It’s okay to drop even old ways that you know I gave you. It’s time for upgrades. It’s time for up higher. It’s time for fresh vision and fresh fire. It’s time for renewed passion, vigor and might. It’s time for power. Ask Me for fresh vision. Ask Me for fresh fire. Ask Me for new strategies, new ways to operate and new connections. The old ways are reaching their expiration date, and may already be expired. Be okay with walking into the new. Be okay to walk forward empty handed. Your yes brings you into the room of equipping, where all these things will be added to you. Be okay with dropping the old before picking up the new. That’s how it works.
18 “Do not call to mind the former things,
Isaiah 43:18-19
Or ponder things of the past.
19 “Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
These are days of rapid fire change. These are days of many changing priorities and functions and behaviors and habits. Be okay with it. Be okay with leaving former formulas, patterns, habits and schedules behind. I Am calling you into something new. I may rearrange completely what things look like and how you approach them, while the work itself stays the same. Or I may change the table completely and set you in a totally new space. My grace is here for so many types of change, that very little will remain the same. You can choose change in joy. You can choose change with delight. You can choose change in peace. It’s here for you. It’s here to cause better positioning, acceleration, advancement, and it’s here to place you in the right place at the right time. It’s here for alignment.
My grace is here for change. Change is happening one way or the other. Choose change. Choose it wisely and in partnership with Me. I have brought it here as a gift for you. Don’t insist on staying the same. Don’t insist on things staying the same. Change is here, and change is certain. Stand up and participate. Stand up and enjoy it. It’s here for you.
How to Respond
- Choose the grace of the Lord. Reach out and participate in the change He is offering. This is a time with a great grace for change, where the possibilities are swirling all around — waiting to be chosen.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your grace — even when it brings discomfort. Thank You that this discomfort is here to birth something new within us. Thank You for the upgrades and the change that is available. Help me to choose wisely and in partnership with You. Help me to leave all that is no longer serving me and no longer working well, even if it worked well in the past. Give me new strategies, new vision, new ways of operating and thinking. Help me to delight in the change and partner with You in it.
- Declare, this is a time of great change and many new possibilities. Many old ways, habits, approaches and thought processes are expiring, and the Lord is presenting us with the opportunity to grasp upgrades, change, fresh vision and fresh fire.
- Decree, I will drop all that no longer serves me. I will partner with the Lord in the choosing of the change, strategies, vision, new thinking and new passion that He is offering. I will walk victoriously in the change that the grace of the Lord has brought.
