Today’s Reading:
Psalm 16
1 Peter 1
“Keep me safe, O mighty God. I run to you, my safe place. I said to Yahweh, “You are my Maker and my Master. Any good thing you find in me has come from you.” And he said to me, “My holy lovers in the land are my glorious ones, who fulfill all my desires.””
Psalms 16:1-3 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My favor rests on you. My favor and My grace are immeasurable enabling and empowering forces. The light of My countenance shines on you. Allow it to lift your heart and your chin. My grace is dripping on you, anointing you and flowing through you. My grace for change is here. It is on you, and it is flowing through you. My grace to change your mindset, My grace to change your posture, My grace to change the way you respond, to change your perspective, to change your heart. My grace is here to change the way you see yourself. My grace is here to change the way you interact with others. My grace is here for major paradigm shifting change. My grace is here so heavily, and it is at work so deeply within you to impart that grace for change on others. It is here to literally bring change and be change to the world around you.
“You are not forgotten, for you have been chosen and destined by Father God. The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God’s holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ who have been gloriously sprinkled with his blood. May God’s delightful grace and peace cascade over you many times over! Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We are reborn into a perfect inheritance that can never perish, never be defiled, and never diminish. It is promised and preserved forever in the heavenly realm for you! Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.”
1 Peter 1:2-7 TPT
Be holy, for I Am holy. This change, this grace for change, this anointing for change is to spark a holiness revolution. Be holy, for I Am holy. Be set apart, different, in Me. I Am the vine. You are the branches. Those who abide in Me remain in Me, and we are one. Be holy, for I Am holy. Holiness is attainable. Holiness is not just for clergy, nuns and priests. Holiness begins with purification. It begins with a pure heart, clean hands and clean lips before Me. It begins with a yearning for My Presence that cannot be quenched by Sunday services and podcast preaching.
“Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you! The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence every moment.”
Psalms 16:5-8 TPT
Holiness can be attained because of a burning heart desire to be with Me, to see Me, to know Me, and to dwell with Me. When your heart is alight with a fire for Me, when your eyes are only for Me, holiness is a byproduct. Holiness is not a goal. It is what you become as you remove everything that stands between you and Me. Holiness is a byproduct of burning and settling for nothing less than Presence, settling for nothing less than dwelling in My courts, for hearing My voice, for walking with Me in the cool of the day. Holiness is what happens when passion overtakes you and all that is lesser, all that has been a stumbling block, all that is permissible but not fruitful gets thrown out of the way, so that you have unhindered access to Me, to Presence, to continual ongoing communion with the Lord Your God and King.
“So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action! Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to you. As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.””
1 Peter 1:13-16 TPT
Be holy, for I Am holy. Holiness is the way. Holiness is the byproduct. Holiness is the evidence of prioritizing with a burning passion, above all else, Me, your Father, Lover and King. I Am in all things and through all things and nothing that has its being does not exist in Me. Walk in reverence. Walk in awe. Walk humbly before the Lord your God. Pursue Me with burning, undistratctable, undeterrable passion and you will find Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You that Your anointing of the grace for change is available. Lord, help me to not ignore the nudges and the need for change. Help me to doggedly pursue change in every area of my life that you highlight. Help me to be the change that you want me to be in my home and the world around me. Ignite a fire in my heart that burns for you as never before. I want to be holy because You are holy Lord.
- Declare, the Lord is holy and worthy to be praised.
- Decree, the Lord is pouring out the oil of grace for change. He has anointed me for change, and I will be the change He calls me to be. I will purify myself before Him. I will burn with a passion and fire, with desire for Him as never before, and the evidence will be that I become holy as He is holy.
