Today’s Reading:
Psalm 139

13 For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.

Psalm 139:13-14

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for change. My change starts within you, and then you can reach out and grab or access more of it. You must have internal change before you can choose and enjoy external change. Grace is here for changing your heart, for changing your mind, for adjusting how you see yourself, so that it matches more closely with who I say you are. My grace is here for change, but I’m not trying to change the essence of who you are. I Made you exactly the way I wanted you when I knit you together in your mother’s womb.

15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
17
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

Psalm 139:15-17

I want you to change and get a more perfect, more true understanding of who I say you are and who I made you to be. I want you to adjust your behavior to match your identity. I want you to see the royal and high calling placed on your life from birth. When you can align who you think you are with who I say you are, with who I made you to be, you can reach out and take on any external change that is required. And you will have the confidence and strength to reach out and possess the change that lights your heart on fire.

Aligning your thinking and your heart, aligning your beliefs and the core understanding of who you are with who I say you are is one of the most life giving, perspective altering experiences you can have. This is the call to up higher thinking, to up higher perspective. This is the call to divinely inspired change. This is a call into identity, to true identity. This is a call to be you — exactly as I made you to be, exactly the way I see you, which is far more glorious and far more powerful than the way you see yourself.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.

Psalm 139:23-24

Align yourself with Me. Align your spirit and your thinking with Me, and there’s nothing we can’t do — no change that can’t be conquered, no opportunity that can’t be grasped and enjoyed and nothing that thrills your heart and lights up your personality that can’t be accessed. Align yourself with Me, and watch how we change the world. It will be the natural outpouring, the natural daily fruit of walking in true identity. My grace is here. My grace has been generously poured out on you for change. Pursue the change inside of you first, and all of the external change required will be simple to access. I love you.

How to Respond

  • Ask the Lord to tell you what the most important thing about your identity is to Him today. Ask the Lord to tell you where you are not living in truth.
  • Read Jamie Winship’s book, Fearless Living, which is an amazingly simple, God-inspired instruction manual on how to hear from God about your identity and purpose.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit, come and show me who You say I am. Show me how You see me and who You made me to be. I want to live in the freedom of the truth of who You say I am. Help me to align my perspective and my beliefs to what You say is true. You are truth, and You are always right. Thank You Lord.
  • Decree, I will align my perspective with the Lord’s. I will walk in true identity and I will purpose to continually change and evolve my thinking and beliefs to live in truth. This is the kind of freedom I was made to enjoy.
