God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence
Psalms 46:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace, grace is flowing. Grace is flooding every part. Truth is the bedrock beneath the flow of My grace that will be seen. Some will be shipwrecked by truth. Others will be saved by it. They will find truth as a refuge and a firm foundation, a great relief from being tossed to and fro by the stormy seas of chaos and the winds of desperation. My grace is flowing. My grace will drive many right to the bedrock of truth, and it will be a welcome departure from where they had been. It will be a welcome solid place on which to stand.
God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places. God is in the midst of his city, secure and never shaken. At daybreak his help will be seen with the appearing of the dawn. When the nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms, God simply raises his voice, and the earth begins to disintegrate before him. Here he comes! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us! Pause in his presence Everyone look! Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God. For he brings both ruin and revival. He’s the one who makes conflicts end throughout the earth, breaking and burning every weapon of war.
Psalms 46:4-9 TPT
Those who believe it is their right to stir up waves, wind and murkiness, who dredge up refuse and stir and instigate storms of their own making, to these I say, your ship has lost its rudder. You are now completely out of control. I Am the One who creates light and darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity (Isaiah 45:7). And this storm is Mine. All of your churning and stirring will not accomplish what it once did. It will only serve to tire you out and exhaust your resources, energy and supply.
Violent days of spiritual warfare are upon us, but I own the storm. And My people, My lovers, even those who suddenly take refuge in Me, they will experience My grace winds for advancing, and they will find their feet on truth and their lives on a level path. But for the wicked, My grace winds will be adverse winds. My storm will churn up their refuse and force them to be covered in it.
I offer peace to those who are far from me, and I offer peace to those who are near, and I will heal their deepest wounds,” says Yahweh. “But the wicked are like the storm-tossed sea, whose restless waves are never still, stirring up mud and mire. There is no peace for the wicked,” says my God.
Isaiah 57:19-21 TPT
These are the days of the haunting ones being haunted and every dark deed being exposed. They have nowhere to hide, and their feet cannot touch the ground. They are merely treading water, and deep beneath their feet are shifting sands. Watch the truth reign in victory and embarrass the enemies in a seemingly unending procession of defeat. It’s a marvelous time to be alive on the Earth and to reign among the living.
How to Respond
- Delight in the Lord and in the truth.
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your grace and Your grace winds. Help me to not get distracted by the storm or the chaos that the enemy is stirring up in this time. Help me to keep my eyes on You, set my feet upon the bedrock of truth — Christ Jesus — and walk in the level path You have laid out for me amidst the storm. Lord, open the eyes, ears, hearts and minds of those who have been unable to see or hear or receive truth. Cause them to wake up and take refuge in King Jesus.
- Declare, He whom the Lord sets free is free indeed.
- Decree, The Lord God Most High is the Lord of the storm. He has provided a firm foundation for us, bedrock on which to stand in the midst of chaos and great grace. He is stirring up trouble for the wicked, but He has a level path marked out for those who are called by His Name. This is a time of great advancement for the lovers of God and great embarrassment, defeat and destruction for His enemies.
