Isaiah 54
Hebrews 11
11 “You unhappy one, storm-tossed and troubled,
Isaiah 54:11-12
I am ready to rebuild you with precious stones
and embed your foundation with sapphires.
12 I will make your towers of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious, delightful stones.
The Lord says,
Trust Me. Trust Me in the shaking. Worship Me. Let the songs from your heart come up to Me. Rejoice. Live in peace and from peace. Let yourself glide through life unaffected by the storm around you. The storm is a reality, but it does not need to impact you. It does not need to phase you. You can carry great joy and be filled with hope and excitement about the future even in the midst of the swirling around you. Live this way. Choose and purpose to live this way.
14 You will be established in righteousness.
Isaiah 54:14
Oppression—be far from them!
Fear—be far from them!
Yes, terror will not come near you, nor will you be afraid.
Walk like one who conquers and reigns. Carry yourself as royalty, as a child of the One True King. Choose good plans for tomorrow. You are in the planning phase, and the blueprints are being drawn out. Immerse yourself in the planning, and enjoy thinking about the future. It is going to be brighter and more exciting than you can imagine. The frustrating place and the inconvenience of your planning may be very apparent, but embrace it any away.
8 Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God. So he left with only a promise and without even knowing ahead of time where he was going, Abraham stepped out in faith. 9 He lived by faith as an immigrant in his promised land as though it belonged to someone else. He journeyed through the land living in tents with Isaac and Jacob who were persuaded that they were also co-heirs of the same promise.
Hebrews 11:9-10
10 His eyes of faith were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself.
You are in the designing phase of your blueprint for how you live your life in the next season. Make it spacious and beautiful. Make it built on Me, your firm foundation. Take joy and pleasure in day dreaming about this next chapter. Meet with Me, the architect and builder of your faith to see how to build.
2 “Increase is coming, so enlarge your tent
Isaiah 54:2-3
and add extensions to your dwelling.
Hold nothing back! Make the tent ropes longer and the pegs stronger.
3 You will increase and spread out in every direction.
Your sons and daughters will conquer nations
and revitalize desolate cities.
Consult with Me and bring Me in into the planning. I have bigger and better, more advanced and more experienced, wiser ideas than you. Trust Me. It’s going to be magnificent what we build together.
How to Respond
- Determine to trust the Lord.
- Plant your feet firmly on the Lord as your foundation and choose to not be moved by the storm around you.
- Embrace this planning and pre-building phase. Invite the Lord into it, and He will guide you in a place and season that is better than you could have dreamed or imagined.
- Declare that the Lord is moving you to a brighter more exciting future with what you are building with Him.
