Today’s Reading:
Hebrews 12

”As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures. After all, you have not yet reached the point of sweating blood in your opposition to sin.“

Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God of Grace and Mercy says,
My grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in your weakness. Be weak with Me. Let down your guard with Me. Open up your vulnerabilities to Me, and I will be your strength. I will rush in to your places of lack. I will come to your areas of need. I will be your strength, your rock, your shield and the champion of your cause. My grace is with you to keep moving forward. My grace is with you, giving you the courage for one more step, one more risk, one more day. My grace covers you. Whom or what shall you fear?

”And have you forgotten his encouraging words spoken to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when he has to correct you. For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of his faithful love. And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child.”“

Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Rise up my warrior who has hope. Rise up in faith. Rise up in obedience. Rise up with the joy that bolsters and overflows from your soul. I have made you for this moment. I made you perfectly to walk in these days. Trust Me. Make me your reality. Make Me to become more real than real, more real than the physical, more real than something that you hold in your hand. I Am your shepherd and the champion of your cause. I will never leave you, and I never have before. I will walk with you through thick darkness, and I will walk with you into shining days of glory.

”So be made strong even in your weakness by lifting up your tired hands in prayer and worship. And strengthen your weak knees, for as you keep walking forward on God’s paths all your stumbling ways will be divinely healed!“

Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Rest in Me. Trust in Me. Retreat into Me. I Am your safe hiding place. I Am your strength, your refuge and your very present help in times of trouble. I will strengthen your weak knees. I Am your hope, and your salvation. Cling to Me. Anchor your hope and your faith in Me. And walk boldly forward as one who knows their days and their times are secure in My hand. Take all of the peace you need from Me. I have it in abundance. Yours is to keep moving forward.

How to Respond

  • Be honest and vulnerable before the Lord.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for being with me. Thank You for Your tender care and watch over me. I lay my weakness, fear and pain before You openly. I know You see it all anyway, but I am offering it to You. Come into these places where I need more strength, more wisdom, more healing. Come and have Your grace pour in, so I can move forward in the wholeness that comes from being entwined as one with You.
  • Declare, the Lord is my strength and shield. He is always more than enough. His grace is sufficient for me, and I will strengthen myself in Him. He is faithful, trustworthy and true.
  • Decree, I will be open, honest, raw and vulnerable before the Lord, and He will meet me in my weakness. He will attend my every need. He will never leave me, never forsake me, never forget about me. I will be faithful to call on Him to fill my places of lack, pain and weakness. And He will be faithful to strengthen me with all that I need to move forward, step by step, day by day.
