“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.”

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Kings take dominion when kings go out to war. They don’t take dominion by sitting back, by waiting and by watching from afar. No, kings take dominion when kings go out to war. Go forward in strength, in boldness and in the confidence of the Lord, knowing that I go before you; and I fully back your exploits to disrupt the darkness and remove power from the wicked. This is a time and a season of great exploits. It’s a time to tear down all of the walls and restrictions and mechanisms built by the hands of the enemy. It’s time to tear down their institutions, their systems that self-perpetuate hate, disorder, chaos and decay. Theirs is a system of moral and societal, cultural decay. Mine is the one that shines brighter than the sun, that heals the nations by way of the leaves from the Tree of Life and breathes abundant life into every corner of the atmosphere.
“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, flowing with water clear as crystal, continuously pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb. The river was flowing in the middle of the street of the city, and on either side of the river was the Tree of Life, with its twelve kinds of ripe fruit according to each month of the year. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. And every curse will be broken and no longer exist, for the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there in the city. His loving servants will serve him; they will always see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Night will be no more. They will never need the light of the sun or a lamp, because the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign as kings forever and ever!”

It’s time for holy upheaval. It’s time to wreak holy havoc on the works of the enemy. It’s time for a great disruption and a great displacement. It’s time for a great calling up of the replacements — those who were anointed — not appointed — to serve, those whose hearts are humble and eyes are hungry, souls are hungry for the Word and the will of the Living God. They may look small. They may seem weak in comparison to the enemy. But they can get down lower and take the enemy out at the knees. This is not a time for pretty warfare. This is at time of vigilant, punishing, unrelenting warfare that breaks every chain by which the enemy is binding the people and holding the culture hostage.
Relenting is not an option. Reversing course is not an option. Retreat is not an option. Pushing forth with everything inside of you is the only option. It’s time to overtake, disrupt and overthrow the works of darkness in this land. It’s time to overthrow the wicked ones whose sticky fingers are in every aspect of society and governance. It’s time to wipe them off of the map and to to clear them off of the game board. It’s time to wipe the whole game board clean and set it afresh with no corrupted players, with no broken and manipulatable players but only ones who stand tall and can only be moved by the hand of the Lord Himself.
“If you burn away the impurities from silver, a sterling vessel will emerge from the fire. And if you purge corruption from the kingdom, a king’s reign will be established in righteousness.”

This is a time when kings go out to war — to conquer, to wrestle back all that has been stolen and even given away into the hands of the enemy. This is the time to wrestle back what was lost and to snuff out the enemy. This is the time to destroy, to conquer and to take dominion in this earth. Kings can only take dominion when they go out and fight. It doesn’t come to them in their bed chambers. It comes from wrestling, conquering and winning it back. It comes through action and force. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against powers, principalities and kingdoms of darkness in this world.
How to Respond
- Worship and thanksgiving are powerful weapons of warfare. Spend time in worship. Make it part of how you live. Declare the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord in your life. Declare His promises. Declare His Word, and send it out to conquer the darkness.
- Pray, Lord, show me what warring for the sake of Your Name, for the sake of my culture and on behalf of the future generations looks like in my life. Show me how to live a lifestyle on the offensive, actively warring in the spirit. Show me where my place in the culture war is. Bring divine appointments and give me an apt word as I need it. Help me to be one who speaks the truth and does not back down or bow to darkness at any turn. Thank You Lord. With You, we are more than conquerors.
- Declare, the Lord is victorious. He has already won.
- Decree, our God reigns. I give no place to the enemy in my life, therefore he must flee. The sons and daughters of the Lord are arising and shining. We are ejecting the enemy from every corner of culture and every aspect of life with the brightness of our rising in the power, authority and love of the Lord.
