Philippians 4
“Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! And let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.”
Philippians 4:4-5 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
It’s time to rejoice. It’s time to be overflowing with thanksgiving. It’s time to gush forth your love. This is a season of bubbling love like a babbling brook that grows into a strong stream and then becomes a mighty river. Let My love flow through you. Let My love be the source of your love. I Am the source of all true love. I Am love itself. As you allow Me to flow through you, life will change. Life will look different. People will respond differently to you. Your life will be an example of great grace as you allow My Spirit, My love, my power to flow through you.
“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Put into practice the example of all that you have heard from me or seen in my life and the God of peace will be with you in all things.”
Philippians 4:6-9 TPT
This is a time to be generous with love. Be generous with thanks. Be generous of spirit. Be generous with your time. This is a season of pouring out. If you try to pour out from your limited self-contained reservoir, you will run dry quickly, and you will burn out. But if you open the tap of My Spirit in your life — the love, the grace, My Spirit and My power will flow through you as a conduit, and it will be energizing, life-giving and emboldening. What you see flow through you, what you feel flow through you will strengthen your faith. It will expand your faith. And you will enlarge the place of your own tent, because you see what My Spirit flowing through you can accomplish without effort. It’s just about getting into the flow of My Spirit, about opening the tap of My Spirit in your own heart, in your own life and being a willing conduit for My grace, My love and My power.
Rejoice, rejoice and again I say rejoice. Worship and thanksgiving are powerful tools for opening the tap of My Presence, for opening the flow of My Spirit in your life. Make worship a constant theme in your life. Let praise be an ongoing flow from your heart and your mouth. My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness. Rejoice in My all-sufficiency. Rejoice in My bridging the gap of your insufficiency. Rejoice in my faithfulness, in My deliverance, in the gifts of My hands and the wonders of My Presence. Rejoice in My overcoming power. Rejoice in My ever-victorious stance.
“I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ! And God our Father will receive all the glory and the honor throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen! May the grace and favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit!”
Philippians 4:19-20, 23 TPT
Worship and thanksgiving will open up the tap, and you will see more faithfulness flow. You will see the Spirit of the Living God flow. You will see righteousness and justice flow. You will see love powerfully flow. Worship and thanksgiving are the way. Purity and honesty are the way. As you well know, I Am the way, the truth and the life. Follow Me. Open the way for Me. Invite Me. Welcome Me.
How to Respond
- Stir up thanksgiving and praise in your heart. Let them be constants in your life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. You are most welcome here. You are the God of all creation, the giver and sustainer of life. You are the everlasting God. You never grow weary and You don’t faint. I trust You Lord, and I open my life to be a vessel from which Your Spirit can powerfully flow. I want to be a conduit for Your grace, Your love, Your mercy, Your Spirit and Your power. Help me to be that Lord.
- Declare, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
- Decree, I will rejoice in the goodness and faithfulness of my God. I will recount His blessings and His mercies. I will faithfully declare His faithfulness, and I will be a pure vessel through whom His Spirit flows.
