For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
This is a victorious season, and one in which we see many decisive triumphs. You will see and be part of many victories that appear to be taken by blunt force. You will see some victories that are won by workarounds, by routing and usurping the enemy. You will see some battles will be won by catapulting a massive, destructive stone into their camps, into their castle, into their fortification. This is a spiritual war that is playing out as ground warfare. You wrestle not against flesh and blood, but it will look like you do. Come up higher. Stay up higher. Get these wartime battle strategies from Me in this up higher place, and watch how they play out on the ground. Execute your plans from the heavenlies and see how the battle is won on the ground.
In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.
Ephesians 6:16-18 TPT
You can take more ground and sustain much less loss if you war from the heavenlies. This what your dual citizenship is about. You must war from the heavenlies, even as you appear on the ground for combat. The warring in the heavenlies prepares the field. You must still follow My instruction in the reality of the war zone, in the reality of the battlefield. But the bulk of the work, the strategy and the victory is won from the heavenly realm. Come up here to get your war strategy. Come up here to open the territory and prime the territory for the victories that are even executed on the ground by others. You have no idea how big of a role you play in the heavenlies by warring and clearing the path for many victories for others who you will never meet. Your participation may not appear to be on the front lines or in the headlines. But your participation in the heavenlies is clearing territory and preparing the way for the victory of those who are.
But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 TPT
Your participation in this fight makes a difference. Don’t hold back, don’t shy away, and don’t get busy about other work that I have not called you to now. Keep coming up higher. Keep warring from the secret place. I Am seeding the nation with many victories for which you will have fought the battles in the heavenlies. All of this warring in the secret place for the transformation of the nation and the world is not for naught. It is tilling so much ground, it is breaking so many chains and destroying so many yokes so that the victory can be seen and won in the natural, on the ground. Keep warring in the heavenlies My beautiful one. I’m not done with you here yet.
How to Respond
- Stay in the mode of prayer warfare for your family, community and nation.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You pray through me when I don’t know how to pray. Help me to stay engaged in this fight. I can see that the war is not over, and my work is not done. Show me my place in the fight. Put on my heart the people and territories for which You would have me war in prayer. Show me my place in the natural and help me not to back down one inch there either. Sustain me. Refresh me, and give me war strategies.
- Declare, our hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. – Ephesians 6:12
- Decree, I will not desert the battlefield. I will continue to come into the place of warring in prayer. I will come to the up-higher place where the Lord helps me to fight and gives me strategies for victory. This is Victory Season, and I will play my part and see, experience and win many, many victories — in the heavenlies and on the ground.
