Today’s Reading:
John 14
Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. And from now on you will realize that you have seen him and experienced him.”
John 14:6-7 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Truth is taking hold. Truth is no longer fringe. It’s no longer speculation. It’s no longer able to be swept under the rug. Truth is taking hold as a vital cornerstone for the times, as vital to the structure that upholds the times.
Loving me empowers you to obey my commands. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you.
John 14:15-17 TPT
The truth may bring great alarm at first, but then it brings great peace because it is known, because it is seen, because it is immovable and immutable. As people release the lies, toss away the lies and even deride the lies with a great deal of disrespect and dishonor, great peace will cover them. Great peace will bring a grounding. It’s not that the truth will be easy. It’s not that it will be pleasant to see. But the truth does not cause people to be swayed this way one moment and tossed that way one moment later. The truth brings a great stability to the scene even though its revelations may cause great alarm. The abiding, underlying Truth will gird people, the peace will gird people as the truth is revealed in greater measure.
I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous! Remember what I’ve told you, that I must go away, but I promise to come back to you. So if you truly love me, you will be glad for me, since I’m returning to my Father, who is greater than I. So when all of these things happen, you will still trust and cling to me.
John 14:27-29 TPT
Those who love the truth have built their house on solid rock, on a firm foundation. And as greater and greater mounds of truth are unearthed and revealed, the lovers of Truth will not be shaken. Establish yourself on Truth. Establish your house on Jesus, and you will have the deep abiding peace to sustain you through the incoming revelations that are already being excavated, already being brought the surface. Be one who can say, as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Trust Me. Through all of the revealing of these mounds and mounds of truth, I Am taking us to a brighter day.
How to Respond
- Ensure that you and your household are established on the solid rock and firm foundation of Christ Jesus.
- Pray, Lord thank You that You are with me, guiding me, comforting me and directing me. Thank You that Your Presence brings great peace, because You are the Prince of Peace. I am so grateful to have my life anchored to You. I will walk through this time of the great unearthing and revealing of truth in the deep abiding peace of Your Presence, and I will not be shaken.
- Declare, Christ Jesus is the Solid Rock. All other ground is sinking sand.
- Decree, I have built my house upon the Rock. I will not be shaken. I will not be moved. Peace is my portion.
