Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 57
Isaiah 60
14 And it will be said,
Isaiah 57:14-15
“Build up, build up, prepare the way,
Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people.”
15 For thus says the high and exalted One
Who lives forever, whose name is Holy,
“I dwell on a high and holy place,
And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the contrite.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Grace. My grace is here to get things done. My grace is here for getting rid of the clutter. My grace is here for clearing out the old and leaving wide open space for the new. My grace is here for the transition. It’s time to clear out the old and make room for the new. It’s time to clear the decks. It’s time to wiggle out from all that is entangling you. My grace is here for abandoning commitments and time thieves that do not serve you or My purposes for you in this season. It’s time to clear the decks. Get rid of the excesses and the schedule fillers that are not serving My purposes for you right now. Shake loose of the leeches and the negative talkers. Set yourself free from their grip. Give your ears freedom from the chatter and space to be filled with good news, good tidings, good ideas and faith.
This is time for a great clearing out, so you have space for the new. Create space in your life and your home. Get your affairs in order, and keep them well organized.
5 “Then you will see and be radiant,
Isaiah 60:5-7
And your heart will thrill and rejoice;
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,
The wealth of the nations will come to you.
6 “A multitude of camels will cover you,
The young camels of Midian and Ephah;
All those from Sheba will come;
They will bring gold and frankincense,
And will bear good news of the praises of the Lord.
7 “All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you,
The rams of Nebaioth will minister to you;
They will go up with acceptance on My altar,
And I shall glorify My glorious house.
So much new is coming, that you need the space, the ability and the grounding to receive it. Organize your papers as needed. Keep them well organized. Clear out physical clutter, and get rid of things that take up too much room. Soon your door will be darkened by a caravan of new, and you will need the emotional and physical space to put it.
Make your home an oasis. Make it serene and comfortable, uncluttered and with as few things as possible. New is coming. New is en route as a large caravan, and new will soon be darkening your door. Do what is required to make room for the new. It will make receiving the new so much easier, so much less stressful, so much less of a burden. You will be able to enjoy the new if you clear out all of this lingering stuff that is not serving you. Make way for the new. Make room for the new.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord and ask Him what you need to get rid of or shake loose from. Ask Him where to start.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You will be bringing lots of new into my life. Show me how to prepare. Show me what to get rid of, what to organize, and how to order my life for smoother receiving and transitioning to the new that You are sending.
- Declare, the Lord is sending caravans of new to my doorstep.
- Decree, I will clear out what the Lord calls me to get rid of, and I will shake loose from any busyness and any negative and leech-like people who are taking my emotional energy and time from what the Lord has for me in this season. I will make room for the new.
