Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 5-7

33 You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.

Deuteronomy 5:33

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for you. My grace is sufficient for your day — for today, tomorrow and the next day. My grace is with you, and My grace will meet you there. Fret not My child. We are marching toward victory. Fret not My child, we are marching toward a righteous city. Fret not My child. We are marching toward a new day. We are marching toward a new day where pain and crying are the exception, not the rule. Where prosperity is like the tall grass of a field. Where life is available for the living. We are marching to a new day, and My grace will take you there.

10 “Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities which you did not build, 11 and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied,

Deuteronomy 6:10-11

Fret not about the weather. Fret not about the war. Pursue the battle in front of you. Be diligent in the task I’ve put in your hands as you march steadily forward to this new day. Glory awaits. Victory awaits. Recompense will be collected along the way like the spoils of battle along the battlefield. Then you will come to this Promised Land, this land flowing with milk and honey, a city whose houses you did not build and whose walls you did not erect. You will collect recompense along the way as if pilfering booty and the spoils of war. Then you will reach the land of promise, which far exceeds the recompense in your hands, which far surpasses your wildest imagination, which speaks so deeply to the cry of your soul that your heart will be overflowing with joy, with awe, with wonder.

12 “Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you [s]His covenant and [t]His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers. 13 He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock, [u]in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you. 14 You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no male or female barren among you or among your cattle. 15 The Lord will remove from you all sickness; and He will not put on you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known, but He will lay them on all who hate you.

Deuteronomy 7:12-15

We are marching steadily to that city in which to inhabit. We are marching steadily to that new day, the land of promise. You won’t arrive empty handed. You will arrive loaded down with the spoils of war, and yet more than you could imagine will greet you when you get there. This is a time of change. This is a time of completely new living. We are walking into a new book, not a new chapter. The difference will be great. March on My child. March on.

How to Respond

  • Be obedient and diligent in the work the Lord has called you to do.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your grace for today and for each day. Thank You for being with me, for guiding me, instructing me and for Your great protection that covers me. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and to obey quickly. Thank You Lord.
  • Declare, the Lord is guiding us to the land of promise, to a land of prosperity we can’t fathom. He is bringing us to a new day.
  • Decree, I will be about my Father’s business. I will not be distracted. I will not fear, and I will not be drawn off task. I will march steadily alongside my Savior through this war, through the battlefields into the new book, the established city and the new day He has for us.
