Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 11
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
Isaiah 11:2
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I Am resurrecting your life. I Am resurrecting your hope. I’m resurrecting your eyes of expectation and wonder. I Am resurrecting you. Where your life has been gray and blue, where your heart has been dull and dormant, I Am bringing resurrection. I Am bringing and imparting power. I Am bringing the new to resurrect you. The new is coming. The new is out for delivery, and the new I bring will cause you to feel like you again. The new will resurrect you. The new will energize and excite you. The new will bring back your childlike delight and your sense that nothing is impossible. Nothing in this world is impossible with Me. Nothing. I Am opening the floodgates of your heart. A Spirit of Understanding will pour from your heart — that spirit is compassion, connection and seeing people.
3 And He will delight in the fear of the Lord,
Isaiah 11:3
And He will not judge by what His eyes see,
Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;
I Am endowing you with the ability to truly see people as I see them, to connect with them though a Holy Spirit empowered connection. I Am empowering you and enabling you to bless people generously through this Spirit of Understanding. Compassion is truly seeing them as I see them. Being seen and deep real connection brings resurrection power. It truly does cause people to be imparted with life, infused with hope and charged with energy and My light again. As Jesus was moved with compassion throughout the Bible, He never once left someone who had genuinely connected with him as He found them. He left no one who connected with Him sad, depressed, lonely, lacking or rejected. Every single one was given something, was restored, renewed, corrected, instructed, encouraged, healed. All were genuinely seen.
10 Then in that day
Isaiah 11:10
The nations will resort to the root of Jesse,
Who will stand as a signal for the peoples;
And His resting place will be glorious.
I Am imparting and making available this gift, the Spirit of Understanding. It is key to the genuine touch of My Kingdom. It is key to how the message of the Gospel of My Kingdom is taught in truth. It puts on offer something that hearts will have a very hard time refusing. It puts on offer the opportunity to truly, really, deeply, purely be seen and loved as you really are. This is the gift offered by one carrying the Spirit of Understanding. This can change the world. This alone can change the world. Ask Me, and I will give you this beautiful gift. I will impart to you the Spirit of Understanding. Ask Me, and I’ll give the nations to you.
How to Respond
- Bless the Lord for His good gifts and worship Him with gladness.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. I want to be one who can speak the message of the Gospel of Your Kingdom in truth and purity. Impart to me the Spirit of Understanding, so that I can operate as Jesus did — in compassion and truly, purely, honestly seeing people as You see them. Help me to connect with people the way Jesus did in the Bible. Help me to be one from whom compassion and love flows generously to bring healing, empowerment and new life.
- Declare, the Lord is resurrecting hearts and lives. The Lord is imparting the Spirit of Understanding to those who desire it and ask for it; and He will use them to give the gift of truly seeing people — the gift of pure compassion, healing, connection and new life. He will use these willing vessels carrying His Spirit of Understanding to speak the unadulterated message of the Gospel of His Kingdom and the promises it brings.
- Decree, I am one whom the Lord is resurrecting. He is bringing the new to resurrect me. I desire to carry the Spirit of Understanding so that I can connect and love the way Jesus does. The Lord will use me to reach the hurting, lost, lonely and broken with His heart of compassion and His power that brings change and new life. This is true religion — to care for the widows and the orphans and to walk in purity. And this is the introduction to the Gospel of the Kingdom.
