Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 52
Jeremiah 31

14 Just as people used to be shocked by you,
even so his appearance was disfigured;
His form—once glorious—was marred until it hardly seemed human.
15 Now many nations will be astonished at his prominence;
world rulers will be speechless in his presence,
For they will see what they’ve never been told;
they will understand what they’ve never heard.

Isaiah 52:14-15

The Lord says,
It’s Resurrection Season, and Resurrection Season will find it’s climax in Resurrection Day. Jesus is the Victorious One. Jesus has conquered death and the grave once and for all. Whom or what does He fear? Absolutely nothing. Absolutely no one.

3 The Lord appeared to him long ago, saying,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore I have drawn you out with kindness.
4 I will build you again and you will be rebuilt,
Virgin of Israel!
You will take up your tambourines again,
And go out to the dances of the revelers.
5 Again you will plant vineyards
On the hills of Samaria;
The planters will plant
And will enjoy the fruit.

Jeremiah 31:3-5

You have grown accustomed to laying dreams to rest, to calling a time of death on hopes, on desires, on relationships, on a vision for the future. You have grown accustomed to laying things down. And there is a purpose in that. There may be seasons and reasons to do so. But this season is one of resurgence, re-emergence, reestablishment, reinvigoration, restoration, re-energizing and RESURRECTION.

27 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of mankind and the seed of animals. 28 And just as I have watched over them to uproot them, tear them down, ruin, destroy, and bring disaster on them, so I will watch over them to build and to plant them,” declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 31:27-28

Some things you have laid down in obedience, others in failure, others because of outside interference and circumstance. But I say, for those things that have died that are aligned to My will and My beautiful and exciting plans for your life, these I Am breathing on afresh. These, I Am brooding over as in the Valley of Dry Bones. I Am stirring them back to life, and they will surprise you with their resurrection.

You will be shocked and amazed at what I do to re-introduce these dead ideas, dreams, hopes, plans, and desires. They will emerge before your very eyes, and I will place life and My grace in them and on them. They will connect to you in My perfect timing. Get your hopes up. Stir up old dreams. Ask Me to remind you of dreams and ideas that once brought great light to your eyes and your heart. I will not only reanimate them, but I will send with them My grace that carries the ability for success.

12 “They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,
And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord—
Over the grain, the new wine, the oil,
And over the young of the flock and the herd.
And their life will be like a watered garden,
And they will never languish again.

Jeremiah 31:12

Look for unexpected phone calls, new opportunities that meet old desires, new and old connections springing forth in unexpected ways. This resurrection season is full of surprises. Resurrection in and of itself is the greatest surprise of all time. Watch for a seasons full of those. Great and small resurrections will take place.

8 Listen! Your watchmen raise their voices,
They shout joyfully together;
For they will see with their own eyes
When the Lord restores Zion.
9 Be cheerful, shout joyfully together,
You ruins of Jerusalem;
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The Lord has bared His holy arm
In the sight of all the nations,
So that all the ends of the earth may see
The salvation of our God.

Isaiah 52:8-10

Even now I Am ratcheting up the activity and the intensity to reach its climax on an appointed day that will be known as Resurrection Day. The shock, the wonder, the amazement and the powerful surprise will culminate in that day. The whole world will see it and feel the impact of it. The aftershocks will be many, and they will reach the farthest points of the earth from the place of impact. The aftershocks will be felt for many days, weeks and even months from that initial impact of this great resurrection. Watch for it. Pray for it. Declare it. Those on the winning side have a role to help usher it in.
