Today’s Readings:
Philippians 2
Psalm 37
Isaiah 59
19 From the west to the lands of the rising sun,
Isaiah 59:14-21
the glory and the name of Yahweh
will be held in highest reverence,
for he will break in as a flooding, rushing river
driven on by the breath of Yahweh!
20 “He will come to Zion as a Kinsman-Redeemer
to those of Jacob’s tribes who repent of their rebellion,”
says Yahweh.
21 “And this is my covenant promise with them,”
says Lord Yahweh.
“From now on, my Holy Spirit will rest on them
and not depart from them,
and my prophetic words will fill their mouths
and will not depart from them, nor from their children,
nor from their descendants, from now on and forever,”
says Lord Yahweh.
The Lord says,
It’s Resurrection Season, and resurrection is all about triumph. Resurrection comes in as a valiant warrior on a mighty warhorse after defeating its foe in the secret place, in darkness. The victory of resurrection comes to light after the defeat of the foe has taken place. Resurrection does not war in daylight, does not war in the open. Resurrection wars in darkness against darkness and then emerges victorious into the marvelous light. This is the kind of season we are in. You want resurrection. You have cried for resurrection — of hope, of dreams, of situations for yourself, for your country and for the world. Take heart, for I have overcome the world, and death is defeated in darkness.
39 But the Lord will be the Savior of all who love him.
Psalm 37:39-40
Even in their time of trouble, God will live in them as strength.
40 Because of their faith in him, their daily portion will be
a Father’s help and deliverance from evil.
This is true for all who turn to hide themselves in him!
Take heart. Resurrection emerges in victory after the battle is won. Many battles are being fought now that you can’t see — battles in the spiritual realm and battles in the physical realm. Use your worship, your declarations and your audible prayer to join the fight. Use your words to overcome darkness.
2 Look at how much encouragement you’ve found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with his comforting love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt his tender affection and mercy.
Philippians 2:1-2
2 So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.
Join the chorus of believers, warrior believers, who are interceding and pushing back against the darkness with declarations of power, of truth, of victory, who are breaking open the darkness with songs of worship and praise. Join the chorus. Cause the darkness to break and the enemy to flee. He will be defeated in the secret place and in the darkness; and resurrection will take all by surprise. It will appear as a suddenly, but the Warrior who emerges victorious on His war horse has been waging war against the enemy and the forces of darkness on their own territory, in the darkness.
28 The Lord loves it when he sees us walking in his justice.
Psalm 37:28-29
He will never desert his devoted lovers;
they will be kept forever in his faithful care,
but the descendants of the wicked will be banished.
29 The faithful lovers of God will inherit the earth
and enjoy every promise of God’s care,
dwelling in peace forever.
When He emerges victorious, this Resurrected One, King Jesus, will shine light on all that was once dark. He will cause all to be seen, exposed and known, and the territory He has won back from the darkness will now belong to the people. King Jesus, the Resurrected One, the One who has overcome the powers of sin, the grave and death is warring on your behalf and on behalf of the world even now. Join Him in the battle. Sing songs of adoration, of worship and praise. Lift your voices high, and declare His Word. Declare the Scriptures. Declare the promises. Pray out loud.
10 The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. 11 And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!
Philippians 2:10-11
The spirit world responds to the creative power of your voice. Use it as the weapon it is. Use it for the purpose for which it was created. Use it to occupy, to rule, to reign and to assert the authority given to you by Jesus. This is war. But the Light will soon burst forth with the victory of resurrection.
How to Respond
- Declare, the Lord Jesus is mighty, victorious and He has already defeated the enemy. King Jesus is warring on our behalf to overthrow the rule of darkness in the Earth again.
- Worship. Sing songs of adoration, of praise and of victory.
- Declare and decree the promises of scripture. Read scripture out loud. Pray out loud.
- Declare, the days of victory are upon us. We are warring and winning as we follow, worship and declare the righteous rule of King Jesus.
