Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 1
Isaiah 40
21 Do you not know? Have you not heard?
Isaiah 40:21-23
Has it not been declared to you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
23 He it is who reduces rulers to nothing,
Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.
The Lord says,
It’s resurrection season, and Jesus is risen indeed. He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is. Only Jesus. All other paths lead to a dead end. The path of Jesus leads to glorious life, abundant life, restoration, healing, promise, hope, acceptance and forgiveness. I Alone am the Source of all life. Why would you cling to another? Why would you dabble with another? You are dabbling with death and destruction when you give heed to another. I Alone Am God Eternal, Creator of Heaven and Earth. You degrade yourself when you chase after other ways and means.
25 “To whom then will you liken Me
Isaiah 40:25-27
That I would be his equal?” says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes on high
And see who has created these stars,
The One who leads forth their host by number,
He calls them all by name;
Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power,
Not one of them is missing.
27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?
If they are not of Me, they are of death and their father, the father of lies, that devil satan. Forsake all others. Clean your stands, your heart and repent. Come to Me. Come to Jesus and be restored. Forsake all other ways and all other gods. I Alone Am God, the Eternal Father, the Ancient of Days, Creator of Heaven and Earth, the One who knit you in your mother’s womb, the one who knew you before the foundation of the earth. Why would you chase after another? No. Seek Me. Seek Me first. Seek Me alone, and all of these desires in Your heart, these needs, these ambitions, will be added unto you — by My Hand — not by the hand of another. And surely hear Me, not by your own hand.
I Am the very air that you breathe. Don’t be so arrogant and deceived to think that you can do one thing without My grace. Sure, I will enable you. I will empower you, and I permit you to wander if that is your will. But don’t for one minute think that this life, this universe, this world revolves around you. Get a grip. You are fearfully and wonderfully MADE.
16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Isaiah 1:16-18
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Cease to do evil,
17 Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
Defend the orphan,
Plead for the widow.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
Come, return to the feet of Your Maker and King. Come, be restored and made whole. Come, find forgiveness, abundant life and fresh vision. Come. Honor your Father and Most High King. Reflect Your royal heritage in the way you live. Forsake the filth and the wandering. Come home dear one to Me. Can you feel My love? It is reaching out for you. It is drawing you like a magnet back to My heart, back to My royal court, back to My throne, back to your rightful place as My child. Resume your rightful place My dear one. You have deserted it for long enough. We have kept your place reserved. It has not been taken by another. Come. Come. Come.
3 A voice is calling,
Isaiah 40:3-5
“Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
4 “Let every valley be lifted up,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
5 Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Can you feel celebration bubbling in your spirit? Can you sense the great anticipation? Can you sense that something tremendous is about to happen? Can you perceive that I Am crouching and ready to pounce? We are moving into the days of the great turning and the great shift. Things are going to turn to the right suddenly. And you will know that I did it — that I pounced out of the shadows as a crouching lion, and I caused it all to turn.
9 Get yourself up on a high mountain,
Isaiah 40:9-10
O Zion, bearer of good news,
Lift up your voice mightily,
O Jerusalem, bearer of good news;
Lift it up, do not fear.
Say to the cities of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with might,
With His arm ruling for Him.
Behold, His reward is with Him
And His recompense before Him.
In this turn, the ugly underbelly of evil is exposed. In this turn, offices are vacated and others who are honorable and worthy will take their turn. These are days of great upheaval, great replacements, and great turning. Minds will turn, perceptions will turn, the narrative will turn — all to what is right, all to the right, the good, the lovely, the worthy, the honorable. These are days in which the whole world will turn. What was before and what is now will be turned on its head; and what is right will prevail.
26 “Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
Isaiah 1:26-28
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city.”
27 Zion will be redeemed with justice
And her repentant ones with righteousness.
28 But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
As a turnstile advances and locks into the next position, so are we turning now and locking into a new position that is right. We will not backtrack. We will not recede into the former. We are locked forever out of those days. We have clicked into the new days of right and of turning — turning to Me, turning to truth, turning to justice, turning to righteous rule, turning to right identity, turning to beauty, turning to purity, turning to strength, turning for good. We are in the turnstile and advancing forward. Today we click into the new, and the old will be inaccessible. We are walking into the new day today.
How to Respond
- Have you fully submitted your life and your heart to Jesus? If you never have, sit before Him today, and acknowledge His Lordship. Ask Him for His forgiveness and to come and dwell with you, to show you how to live and to show you who He made you to be. If there are pieces of your life and your heart that you keep compartmentalized away from the touch and the breath of Jesus, open those up to Him today. Invite Him in to purify and rearrange all of those places that have not been touched by His light.
- Spend time in worship, adoring Jesus, the Father and Holy Spirit for who they are, for the perfection of their mystery, for creating you and loving you, for preserving you and choosing you, for delighting in you.
- Declare, I and my household serve the Lord. We are covered by the precious healing blood of Jesus. We have no place for fear.
- Declare, the Lord is moving us now into days of great turning toward what is right, and no one can stop Him or slow Him down.
- Decree, the Lord’s powerful move will cause a turning in every area of society. What He has set in motion will change the world as we know it. It will turn the world back to Him, back to what is right, back to honor, truth, justice, righteous order, purity and strength. We are on the Lord’s side. He always succeeds, and He always wins.
