Today’s Reading:
John 10
Isaiah 28
2 Corinthians 3
I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!
John 10:9-10 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living All Powerful God say,
Strong ones and pure ones are in prisons of their own making, because they have numbed their senses to the world. They have tried to cauterize emotional pain. As they live and try to walk with a happy appearance, they are numb to what is going on inside of them and unable to feel, appreciate or participate in the world around them. This is part of the enemy’s strategy and his well executed plan to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come to bring life and life more abundantly. It’s time to shed your grave clothes. It’s time to rise up and shake off the clothes of the dead and the clothes of the mourning.
In that day, Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, will be a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty for the remnant of his people. He will be a Spirit of justice for judges to render right decisions. And he will be strength and bravery for those who turn back the battle at the gate.
Isaiah 28:5-6 TPT
Arise and shine. Reject the death sentence. Reject the position of one from whom much has been taken. And rise up as a warrior of truth and light! Rise up in your authority, and push back the gates of hell! Be found among those who repel the onslaught at the gate. You have been given ALL authority to tread on scorpions and trample snakes. And they will by no means hurt you. So rise up in that authority. Banish the enemy from your territory. It’s time to stop being a victim to circumstance and stop receiving all that the enemy delivers to your hands. It’s time to drive him far, far from your territory and fortify this place of your authority. Make it a stronghold as a prisoner of hope — as a prisoner ONLY of the Lord Jesus Christ — the ever victorious, ever triumphant One who has defeated ALL of the powers of death, darkness, sin and the grave — who IS seated at the right hand of the Father, enthroned in glory, power and victory forever. Shake off the dust of your former days. Remove the grave clothes and the mourning clothes that you wear beneath those, and rise up as a valiant warrior who fights from victory and whose King is eternal, all powerful and has never lost a fight.
So then, with this amazing hope living in us, we step out in freedom and boldness to speak the truth.
2 Corinthians 3:12 TPT
Rise up and war. Rise up and mark off your territory. Repel the enemy beyond your borders, and set up a vigilant watch. This is your land, your territory, your home, your family. He has no place here. So seal off every entry point from his wiles, and reign in victory with Christ Jesus. Reign as the king I made you to be.
How to Respond
- Rise up in authority and refuse to be intimidated or plundered by the enemy.
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to remove the grave clothes of defeat and the mourning clothes of loss. Help me to rise up in the authority and power You died and rose again to give me. Impart in me fresh fire, fresh boldness and a spine of absolute steel. Help me to war against the oncoming enemy, build up my fortifications and repel him from my territory. In You alone, King Jesus, I have EVERY VICTORY!
- Declare, We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. — 2 Corinthians 3:18
- Decree, the enemy has no right on my land, in my home, family or my mind. I evict him in the Mighty Name of the reigning and all powerful King of kings and Lord of lords, the eternal, living Word of God, Jesus. I set my boundary lines forth forcefully, and I rise up and vow to condemn every word spoken to accuse me, intimidate me, silence me, or cause fear or doubt to be stirred up in me. I reject every lie and invite the host of the Lord Jesus to enforce this word in my territory.
