For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.“

The Spirit of the Living God says,
My grace is sufficient to cover the cheat, the steal. My goodness will always overwhelm their evil. My redemption, resurrection and overcoming power will always overwhelm the darkness if those in the light will run into those dark places. If those who bear My name and carry My light inside of them will not fear the darkness but instead will rebuke the darkness, run into the darkness and cause it to dissipate and become a place of sparkling light. Darkness is a symptom of the absence of light. The remedy is simple and easy. Rush into those dark places. Whom or what shall you fear? The darkness flees in the presence of a light, a bright shining light does more good than a dim one, but any light at all dispels darkness.
”Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing!— came into being without him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.“

My light will overcome the cheat, the steal. Be the light, recruit the light, and jam-pack the light in the places where darkness hides, in the places where darkness reigns, in the places where darkness seems to overwhelm.
”“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.“

Let your light overwhelm darkness. Put yourself in the position to dispel darkness and cause it to flee. If you remain only among the light, only in the places of light, the darkness will remain dark. If you enter and invade the places of darkness, more territory is won for the children of light. This is why I say to be light bearers, and not just light keepers. Keep your wick trimmed, because that lamp has places to go in the darkness. It has places to go in the darkness because you are the light. The darkness will not get dispelled without the children of light, the bearers of light rushing in and taking dominion. This is a territorial battle, a territorial war. And for the children of light to win, they must proceed, advance and force out territorial darkness by shining, bringing and being great light. Arise and shine, your light has come. My grace is on you to conquer darkness.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and stir up the boldness and courage to be one who shines as a bright light in places of darkness.
- Pray, Holy Spirit stir up bold confidence in me. Help me to take courage and to run into those places of darkness that You have called me to go. Help me to enter with fiery passion for You and for righteousness. I want to be one whose presence dispels darkness because of Your light inside of me.
- Declare, the light of the Lord, the Name of the Lord and the Presence of the Lord causes darkness to flee.
- Decree, in the authority given to me by Jesus, I will rise. I will run into places of darkness, and I will — by His Presence that lives inside of me — cause darkness to flee. The children of light are rising up now. As we listen to and obey the voice and prompting of Holy Spirit, we will light up the world and break the reign of territorial darkness.
