Here’s the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to contemplate in his temple.
Psalms 27:4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Truth say,
Look upon My radiant beauty. Gaze into My eyes of pure love. Can you see that they are glinting with adventure? Can’t you see that they are beckoning you forward to come run with Me into the great wide unknown? Life has gotten too tame. Your spirit and countenance have grown dull with the mundane. I’m calling you forward to adventure again. I’m calling you forward to adventure with Me. It’s an invitation into the unknown. It’s an invitation into places never tread or trod before you. It’s a place whose structures and systems, whose rules have not yet been made. It is a land of unending opportunity. It’s a place to dream big and then crumple the paper and dream bigger and do that again and again. It’s time for wild, completely new, completely unprecedented dreaming. It’s time to take the known and set it aside to do something in a totally different way, with a totally different look, feel and aim.
[…], there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.
1 Corinthians 2:6-9 TPT
I’m calling you into uncharted territory to dream and build with Me. I’m calling you to stake claims in unknown, never before seen places. This is a time of adventure like the days of the Wild West, like the days of the Gold Rush, but the treasure is My heart. The treasure Is My Presence, My pleasure and My partnership. You will build invisible cities in your heart with Me. Like I did for Noah, and like I did for Moses I will give you the instruction on how to build the city, the structure, the dream that I have placed in your heart, because there is no blueprint for this new dream, this new city, this new castle except in Me.
But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God. For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 TPT
You are royal builders. You are kings and priests unto Me. I’m beckoning you out. I’m inviting you forward into unknown adventures that have no roadmap. But I have been preparing you for them, and I have been preparing them for you all along. When you get there you will see that it is a perfect match. You will see that your heart soars and leaps and exults at the freedom and overflows with the resonance of “I was made for this.” Delight in Me. Gaze upon Me. Look into My eyes of beauty and love, and say yes as I Am calling you out. It’s time to run forward into the unknown.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your heart of adventure. Thank You for making life exciting and for having good works and great exploits planned for me in advance. Help me not to shrink back in fear or waver in doubt. I want to run forward and accept the invitation to adventure, to the unknown, to build something completely new that has no precedent or anything to which it can be compared. I want to run, dream, stake claim and build with You.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. I will run and not grow weary. I will walk and not faint. The Lord will supply my every need according to His riches in glory. Eye has not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. The Lord is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will walk in the promises of God, and I will joyfully take on the good works He has planned for me in advance. His thoughts toward me are countless and vast, and they are for my good, not my harm. They are to give me a future and a hope.
- Decree, I will look upon the beauty of the Lord. I will gaze into His piercing eyes of love and say yes to the adventure into which He calls me. I will not be found among those who shrink back and are destroyed. Instead I will rise up in boldness and courage and experience true life. I will dream with the Lord, run with the Lord, experience His Presence, His pleasure and His partnership in ways I have never done before. And I will build the invisible city that the Lord plants in my heart. I will follow His instructions and do things that have never before been done.
