Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 40-41
10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Isaiah 41:10
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
The Lord says,
I keep My promises. My Word never fails. I never lie, and I never lose. Winning creates the atmosphere and the circumstances for promises to be kept. Promises can’t be kept by a loser. The winners get the opportunity to keep promises. I always win, and I always keep My Word. My Word never fails. Take heart. Be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world. Yes, even the dark world that you find yourself living in now. I have overcome even it. I Am the Victorious One, the King Eternal, High King of Heaven, Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Self-Existent One. Whom or what shall you fear? Trust not in men, nor horses, nor chariots, but trust in the faithfulness of the Lord Your God.
27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel,
Isaiah 40:27-29
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
29 He gives strength to the weary,
And to him who lacks might He increases power.
Though the scene seems dark, these are days of winning. These are days of many victories, and these are days of breakthrough. The tables are turning in broad daylight, and soon they will be completely flipped, completely upended on the cheaters, the liars, the thieves and the cruel ones. This is playing out in broad daylight.
They think they are playing a game on equal footing, and they think they have purchased the winning hand. But the whole game will be upended. They will be left in broad daylight holding the evidence of their cheating — their purchased winning hand. Those tables will not only turn. The tables will be upended. I will interrupt the game, and bring a swift and unexpected end to the game being played.
11 “Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored;
Isaiah 41:11-13
Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.
12 “You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them,
Those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.
13 “For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
These cruel ones, these liars, thieves, pleasure seekers, fame whores and abusers, these greedy, violent and filthy ones have played games that hurt My people long enough. I Am stopping the clock on their games. Their time has run out. They are unaware that their time has run out, but they are about to see what it looks like as the tables begin to turn on them. It will be enough to make them uneasy and stir up fear in their dark hearts. Just as their fear is mounting, and their eyes are growing wide, I will upend the table upon which they have played all of these games. I will flip the table over in broad daylight, and they will be left defenseless, speechless, shocked that the game is over, and they have lost. They have been caught with blood on their hands, receipts in their pockets and with the purchased fraudulent winning hand in their sweaty fist.
It may look dark. It may look bleak. But these are in fact days of winning, days of victories, days of breakthrough. And soon it will be the day of Game Over for the losers.
How to Respond
- Trust in the Lord.
- Believe the Word of the Lord. Settle it in your heart that He is doing what He said He would do, and we will see the recompense of the Lord very soon.
- Pray, Lord, help me to stay encouraged in You, strengthened in Your Word, Your truth and Your promises. Bring the breakthrough. Help me to see the victories that are being won, and bring our day of recompense. Cause our enemies to be exposed and face justice for their crimes. Cause them to repay us seven fold for all that they have stolen from us.
- Declare, the Lord is absolutely good. He never lies, and He never loses. He is turning the tables on those who have set themselves against Him and against the people. He will upend their game, and He will declare game over.
- Decree,
We will see the exposure of those with the enemy.
We will see them caught red-handed.
They will experience deep humiliation, and they will face justice.
We are in days of winning, days of victories and days of breakthrough for our nation and our families.
We will see the Lord end their games of lies, manipulation, theft and the open mocking of all that is holy.
We will see the end to their reign in power.
And we will be paid back seven fold for all that has been lost and stolen at their greedy hands.
