Today’s Reading:
Psalm 37
Psalm 91

“When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse.”

Psalms‬ ‭91:1-3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
My grace is like a heavy weighted blanket. My grace is here to secure you. My grace is here to surround you and hold you. It may feel like you are unable to make large moves right now. It may feel like you are glued to one spot, to one purpose. This is My grace holding you in place, holding you here to protect you from harm that is outside of My grace. This is a moment where My grace is causing you to stay snugly, tightly, securely in a small space of assignment. This is not a season of stretching your legs and running great distances. This is a stay put, hunker down and get the job done season.

“His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you.”

Psalms‬ ‭91:4-6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My grace marks the spot. Venturing outside of My grace right now is like venturing into an open war zone. Arrows and shots are being fired. They are flying wildly, and My protection is not there. My protection is right here in the snug small space I have called you to occupy right now, in the place where I have put your hands to specific works and have connected you with specific people to accomplish those tasks. This is not a venture outside of the gate moment. This is a time to hear My voice. Discern it clearly. And in obedience and in the reverential fear of the Lord, keep your hands to the work I have given you.

“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness.”

Psalms‬ ‭37:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Be diligent in the building, in the finishing, in whatever aspect of assignment, whatever place in the assignment you find yourself — stick with it. This is not a time to try on new missions, new purpose. This is a season where some may be closing out old assignments and getting them ready to transfer into new hands. It may be for others early building days where systems and structures must be well and firmly established in order to be ready for growth and action. It may be a time of transitional growth and securing systems. And it may be a time of brand new dreams budding and taking form where blueprints are needed to be sketched before building can begin. Whatever stage your assignment finds you, be diligent in that. Be faithful in that. Be true in that. Don’t wander outside of the circle out My grace. It is tight and holding you in close for a purpose. It is securing you in this small, tight space.

Don’t venture outside of the little camp. Stay right where I have you. You will know when My grace gives you more wiggle room, when My grace permits you to move farther distances and take more ground. This is like a time of steeping. Concentrate your energy and your efforts right where I have you. Do it with determination, with passion, joy and vigor. It is for a purpose. It will accomplish much.

How to Respond

  • Determine to live in quick obedience to the Lord.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for Your gift of grace. Help me to keep my hands to the work You have called me to in this moment. Help me to clearly hear Your voice and instruction and be quick to be obedient to Your call. Help me to stay focused and be diligent in all that You have given me as an assignment for this time.
  • Declare, this is a season of concentrated grace, where the Lord wants us laser focused on the work He has given us. He is the Lord of the times and the seasons, and His grace is sufficient for me.
  • Decree, I will stay in the tight, concentrated space of God’s grace. I will be diligently focused on the assignment He has given me for this time. I will be busy about My Father’s business. I will not wander off. I will not get drawn off-track or be distracted. I will not leave the place He has called me to be. Instead I commit to work in the place where His grace is.
