“When I look at you, I see your inner strength, so stately and strong. You are as secure as David’s fortress. Your virtues and grace cause a thousand famous soldiers to surrender to your beauty.”

Song of Songs‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Choose grace. Choose My grace to get done all that you need to get done. My grace will get you there. My grace will see to it that My priorities get accomplished. My grace will smile on you and cover you as you go. You’re not doing this alone. You’re not pushing this forward at full capacity alone. I Am with you. I Am strengthening you. I Am pushing and supporting you, and I Am upholding you with My right hand of righteousness. My grace is slicking the path before you for easy travel, easy movement. It seems tough, but that’s only because this road never existed before. I have set you on a new path that is not carved out yet. Everything seems so hard, because you are literally carving out a new path as you go. Don’t grow weary. Rest along the way. Strengthen yourself in My goodness, in My Word, in beautiful reflections of My faithfulness.

“My beloved is to me the most fragrant apple tree— he stands above the sons of men. Sitting under his grace-shadow, I blossom in his shade, enjoying the sweet taste of his pleasant, delicious fruit, resting with delight where his glory never fades.

Song of Songs‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Refresh yourself in Me. Then pick it up and keep going. You can’t see it yet, but there is a great retinue of people who will follow in your wake. You are carving out a path for them. They will follow you. I haven’t called you to turn back from your carving implement and see them all. But soon you will look back at how far you’ve come, and you will see a great retinue of people, a great wide company of people — companies upon companies of people — who have packed up their belongings to follow the path you have carved. It is for you, but it is also for them. I Am partnering with you, I have invited you, and I Am beckoning you forward to carve out this new path, this new way, so a great company of people can follow in your wake.

“Listen, my radiant one— if you ever lose sight of me, just follow in my footsteps where I lead my lovers. Come with your burdens and cares. Come to the place near the sanctuary of my shepherds.”

Song of Songs‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My glory is shining. It’s a beautiful bright new day. The work seems heavy. The labor seems hard, but soon you will look back and realize that you are the one who partnered with me to carve out the way to a brand new day. Stick with it. Keep pushing. I Am with you, and I have called you to this great work. Stick with it. I love you. Soon you will look back in awe at this glorious path you have carved out in lockstep, in union, in unbroken partnership with Me.

How to Respond

  • Determine to keep pushing at the work the Lord has called you to do. Give yourself grace and rest, but don’t retreat or relent. Keep moving steadily forward until the breakthrough comes and the path has been carved.
  • Pray, Lord, help me live in unbroken union with You. Help me to stay connected to You and unmoved from my position of partnership with You in this work You have called me to do. Help me to know when to rest and when to dig deep. My desire is to be and to do exactly what You have asked and invited me to do.
  • Declare, the Lord is my strength, my shield, the one who upholds me and keeps my feet from stumbling. The Lord is my shepherd. He leads me to green pastures of provision and beside still waters for rest and refreshing. He always provides more than enough.
  • Decree, I will stay partnered with the Lord to complete this great work He has called me to do. I will not be discouraged or deterred. I will strengthen myself in the Lord through songs of worship, thanksgiving and the declaration of His Word and promises to me. I will be found faithful and true alongside the Victorious One, the Anointed One, my Savior, Strength and Guide, the Lord God Most High.
