I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,  This is a year marked by surrender. This is a year of laying things down — laying ego down, laying ambition down, laying agendas down, laying your entire life and self down and submitting your heart, mind and life to service through the awe of the grace of King Jesus. The awe of Jesus, the rapt awe of Jesus is grabbing ahold of people’s hearts and pulling them down, prostrate before Him.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God and Source of all truth say, The truth is marching on. Like well trained soldiers marching into battle, the truth is marching on and will not be delayed. It will not be deterred. It will not be drawn off task. The truth will march over hot coals to reach its appointed destination for battle. Nothing can stop what is coming. My plan will stand, and it will not be moved.

Grasp it with your right hand and your left. The winds are picking up, and they will become a very forceful agent of change. But you hold on with all your might, with your right hand and your left to that eternal truth, to the Word of God.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,  I will chase you down to the ends of the Earth. That’s how great My love is for you. Like the parent of a missing, wandering, wayward child or the shepherd of a lost sheep, I will chase you down and restore you. Restoration is the story arch. I long for each of My children to be restored and to be living testimonies of restoration — the restoration of the Master and King — fully covered, fully healed, fully forgiven, fully pardoned, fully and wholly, radically loved.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,  Restore the path to salvation. It has been filled with many stumbling blocks. The path I paved was level, straight and sure. It led directly to the Cross. But many have come behind me and littered the path with rocks and hurdles, inconsistencies and lies. Many have made personal guilt the defining trait of those who try to make it down this now nearly impassable path. The guilty don’t need any help feeling their guilt.
