Today’s Reading:
Psalm 100

“Lift up a great shout of joy to Yahweh! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! Worship Yahweh with gladness. Sing your way into his presence with joy!

Psalms‬ ‭100:1-2TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Dwell on the goodness of the Lord Most High. Dwell on and recount My great faithfulness. Recount the answered prayers, and walk in joyful overflowing thanksgiving today. There’s more where that came from. There’s plenty more where that came from. Walk and skip and laugh in thanksgiving. Bend ears with the retelling of your testimonies. Sing songs of joyous praise to the God of the highest place. These are days of overflowing thanksgiving. These are days to count your blessings. These are days to dwell on and reflect on My goodness.

“And realize what this really means— we have the privilege of worshiping Yahweh our God. For he is our Creator and we belong to him. We are the people of his pleasure. You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!”

Psalms‬ ‭100:3-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My goodness is the foundation of your faith. If it’s not good, it’s not from Me. I Am absolutely good. If your perspective of Me is tainted by anything other than goodness, you are wrong My dear. I Am good. I’m absolutely good. I’m fully good, and I’m nothing but good. Any thought you have of Me that does not reflect My goodness is under the influence of a lie. Check your premise. Check your heart. Reframe it all with the starting point, the foundation of My absolute goodness. I Am good. Period.

My goodness is what turns many hearts. My goodness is what touches people’s lives. My goodness sends out healing. I never withhold any good thing from those who diligently seek Me.

“For Yahweh is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation!”

Psalms‬ ‭100:5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Reframe your perspective of Me. I Am absolutely good — not some of the time, not most of the time — all of the time, through and through, absolutely good. Start there and then proceed. Doesn’t that give your faith something to rest on? Doesn’t that give your faith a firm foundation that cannot be squashed by the lies of the enemy? Cement in your mind, your heart, your being the total conviction and complete belief, the unshakable, immovable belief in My goodness. That is a foundation upon which faith can stand, can grow and can build. Being unwaveringly convinced of My goodness is the foundation for all righteous faith. Delight in Me. Recount My goodness. Dwell on the reality and immovable truth of My absolute goodness. Your faith can grow from there.

How To Respond

  • Pray, Lord, thank You for who You are. Thank You for caring for me, for seeing me, for answering prayer and for correcting me. Help me to reset my own thinking and my own heart to align with the truth of Your absolute goodness. Lord, I repent and turn from thoughts of You that do not start with Your goodness as the foundation. You are absolutely good Lord. Let that be my new, unshakable foundation.
  • Declare, the Lord is absolutely good. Period.
  • Decree, I reject the lies of the enemy about the character, nature and intentions of my God and Savior. The Lord my God is absolutely good, and anything short of that foundational truth is a lie. I believe in the goodness of the Lord. I will rejoice in the Lord and reflect on His goodness. His goodness will be re-established as the starting point of my thoughts about Him. My faith for the future will be built upon the foundation of His goodness.
