Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 61
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Isaiah 61:1-3
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
The platter of My blessing. The platter of My favor. I Am extending it to you as a tremendous, weighty, ancient silver platter that was etched with My own hands. This is the Holy Spirit advantage. I have given it to you on a silver platter. I Am extending it to you on a silver platter that I carved with my own hands. The Holy Spirit advantage is this. It’s rapid acceleration. It’s invisibility at key moments. It’s great visibility at other times. It’s an amplification of your voice when the moment calls for it. The Holy Spirit advantage is not tricks and ploys. It is the home field advantage. It is the technology advantage. It is the natural advantage, and it is the supernatural advantage.
I work in ways that seem to make sense to men, and I work in ways they can’t explain. I work in ways that seem like stunning coincidence, and I work it ways that cannot be explained.
4 Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
Isaiah 61:4-5
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
5 Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks,
And foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers.
The Holy Spirit advantage is an edge in every field, every venue, with every crowd on every topic. Holy Spirit advantage is served on the silver platter of My blessing and favor. I etched this platter with My own hands, and I did it for you. I have made it very easy for you to carry the weighty platter of My blessing and favor. I have made it very simple for you to hold the Holy Spirit advantage. It has been activated. It has been activated. Holy Spirit advantage has been activated, and life is about to get a lot more fun. Inexplicable blessing and favor will come upon you. Invisibility and visibility will lend themselves to your cause. A great strong amplification of your voice will carry on the airwaves, and it will stun, and it will take your breath away.
6 But you will be called the priests of the Lord;
Isaiah 61:6-9
You will be spoken of as ministers of our God.
You will eat the wealth of nations,
And in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion,
And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion.
Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land,
Everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 For I, the Lord, love justice,
I hate robbery in the burnt offering;
And I will faithfully give them their recompense
And make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Then their offspring will be known among the nations,
And their descendants in the midst of the peoples.
All who see them will recognize them
Because they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.
Holy Spirit advantage is always sneaky. It’s not predictable, and it is not formulaic. Holy Spirit advantage is a wild card. It is the maverick in every situation that brings blessing and favor and changes the scene. Holy Spirit advantage does not operate by the world’s rules. Kingdom rules are far more fun. You’re about to have a lot more fun. Gain an awareness of the blessing and the favor you carry. Live with the reality of Holy Spirit advantage being carried within you. It’s about to get a lot more fun. It’s about to get a whole lot more fun.
How to Respond
- Pray, Jesus, thank You for the incredible advantage You have given us by sending Holy Spirit to come and live inside of us. Thank You for the Holy Spirit advantage. Help me to live with an ongoing awareness of the edge, the blessing and the favor that I carry simply by being a child of the King and a temple of the Lord Most High.
- Declare, these are days where the kings and priests of the Lord carry remarkable, stunning advantage because of the activation of Holy Spirit in our lives and on our behalf. Blessing and favor will mark us in new and unexpected ways.
- Decree, I have the Holy Spirit advantage. I carry the weighty gift of the Lord’s blessing and favor. He etched this gift especially for me with His very own hands. My life will be marked with the wild card of the Holy Spirit advantage, and it is going to be so much fun.
