Isaiah 66
12 The Lord will never forget us in our need; he will bless us indeed!
Psalm 115:12-15
He will bless the house of Israel;
he will bless the house of Aaron, his priest.
13 Yes! He will bless his devoted lovers who bow before him,
no matter who they are.
14–15 God himself will fill you with more.
Blessings upon blessings will be heaped upon you
and upon your children from the maker of heaven and earth,
the very God who made you!
The Joy of the Lord
The Lord says,
Joy is on My heart — indescribable, unending joy. Joy that seems out of place in such darkness and trouble. Joy that can’t be penned up. This is the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and it is a mighty weapon. It breaks the powers of darkness and carries you through impossible circumstances. I Am making deposits of ecstatic joy in the hearts of My people. Watch as it draws you nearer to Me. Watch as it causes you to sing. Watch as you dance through difficult days under the power of the joy that I have deposited inside you. The joy of the Lord will carry you, will cause you to float and rise and hover above circumstances. It will cause you to come up higher and see from My perspective. It will cause you to laugh and to live in a great mode of trust. Live in My deep abiding joy, and see how it carries you.
6 So I’ve learned from my experience
Psalm 116:6-9
that God protects the vulnerable.
For I was broken and brought low,
but he answered me and came to my rescue!
7 Now I can say to myself and to all,
“Relax and rest, be confident and serene,
for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.”
8 God has rescued my soul from death’s fear
and dried my eyes of many tears.
He’s kept my feet firmly on his path
9 and strengthened me so that I may please him
and walk before Yahweh in his fields of life.
You Will Experience the Goodness of the Lord
The Lord says,
Trust will be birthed in your heart as you experience My goodness and faithfulness in real, tangible, undeniable ways over and over again in this season. My goodness, My faithfulness, My extreme lovingkindness will be poured out. I will give you daily reminders of My character, and it will cause you to trust in ways you never have before.
My goodness and faithfulness will be marks of this season. And the trust in Me that you develop will be etched into your heart forever.
You will trust because you have experienced from My hand many impossible provisions, gifts and blessings.
Listen to My heart. As the world rushes on, and as chaos swirls around, you stop, you quiet yourself and your mind. You listen to My heart, and get instruction. Look for My pleasure on your decisions. My pleasure will rest on the right next step. You will see it and sense it if you are asking and looking for it. Sometimes you will still sense it even when it didn’t occur to you to look for it, because I Am for you and with you and causing the road to rise up before you. But seek Me. Seek My counsel, My wisdom, My guidance and My ways.
14 When you feast your eyes on this,
Isaiah 66:14
your heart will leap for joy and be revived;
your body will flourish and sprout like grass.
The mighty power of Yahweh will be revealed,
resting on his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his enemies!
The Lord Is Confusing and Exposing Those on the Side of Darkness
The Lord says,
I Am stirring up jealousy among the enemy’s camp. Instead of keeping their hands to the work of the evil deed to which they have set them, they will begin to look to the right and to the left and see things that they want. They will despise those who have something that they don’t have — be it social, political, material, or relational — and great jealousy will consume the camp. They will be drawn off target and distracted by their perceived lack. They will be running off in many useless directions chasing after that which is not theirs and which cannot satisfy. And the camp will be in great disarray and confusion.
Their evil deeds that they set out as a master plan, a coordinated plan, will have no traction, because their hands will be busy trying to acquire that which they desire in the moment. I will cause great jealousy to burn in their hearts for useless, fleeting things, and it will confuse the camp.
I Am causing a dark fog to come into their camp as well, so they cannot have visibility. They will not be able to see beyond the camp. Their movements and their efforts will be constrained to within the camp. They will see rays of My light, of My glory shining in from the right and it will cause a great panic; because they have grown accustomed to operating in darkness and doing their evil deeds under the cover of darkness. Just a few streams of light will flow in from the right and cause great pancic. And then the light will sit there and intensify, and the light will grow brighter and brighter. As the light breaks the fog and clears out the dark clouds that have provided them cover for their dark deeds, they will be stunned, terrified and even speechless. I will stun them into silence as the world looks on at their nakedness and dark deeds in the stark light of day. It will be very grave. But light, exposure and truth are necessary for healing. These ones in the camp of darkness must be exposed and ejected. They will indeed be tossed from the scene, given no honor, and their names will be held in contempt forever. THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD.
This is not your fate nor is it your job to manage. You are to concern yourself with Me, with the indwelling of My Spirit, with being filled with My ecstatic joy, with hope, with life and trust. You will look on as all this takes place. But keep your hands and feet to the work that I have called you and to the tasks which I have set before you for this time. One step and then the next. But know, that I will not let the camp of darkness operate unchecked. I Am moving, and I will confuse, reveal, and expose for all to see.
How to Respond
- Walk in the light. Be light. Be filled to the overflow with with the ecstatic joy of the Lord.
- Worship, praise, give thanksgiving to the Lord.
- Walk in trust. One step and then the next.
- Seek and discern the Lord’s pleasure in each of your decisions. He will cause His pleasure to rest on the right choice, right step, right move.
- Declare that the Lord is confusing the camp of those operating in darkness, and He will bring light to all of their dark deeds – exposing, bringing justice, and removing them from the scene.
