Today’s Reading:
Exodus 3
7 The Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. 8 So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. 9 Now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.
Exodus 3:7-9
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Grace. My grace is sufficient, and My love is enough. My love is a great comprehensive covering that shields you from the world. My love is enough. My love covers you, and My grace enables you to go the distance, to go as far as I have called you to go. My grace is the ultimate advantage. It’s the prized, intangible winning edge. My grace is sufficient. It’s more than enough to get you to get you to the place I have purposed and divinely established for you to go. My grace will bring you handily and healthily with confidence and provision — not empty handed — into your promised land, the land I have promised you, a land flowing with milk and honey, of beautiful pristine vegetation and abundant life teeming around you. My grace will get you there. My grace will load you down with blessing for the journey and blessing to establish you in this new place. I Am loading you down with plunder like I did with the Israelites leaving Egypt.
21 I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed. 22 But every woman shall ask of her neighbor and the woman who lives in her house, articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; and you will put them on your sons and daughters. Thus you will plunder the Egyptians.”
Exodus 3:21-22
You will walk out of this place. You will not run, and you will not leave empty handed. I will ensure that you are weighted down with gifts and plunder not only to sustain you for the journey but to establish you in this promised land and to be a blessing and a sign of My great favor that you wear every day. I Am calling you out of Egypt My dear one. I Am calling you out, and I will give you the grace and blessings untold, unfathomed as a parting gift. I will cover you with My love and conceal you from the enemy’s view. I will shield you from the sun by day and the cold by night. I Am an amazing God. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand, and I will walk with You all the way there, to your promised land, the land that I have prepared, the land that I have promised. I have made a way, and I Am the way. My grace is sufficient. My grace is more than enough.
How to Respond
- Trust your ability to hear the Lord’s voice. Trust His Word, and obey His instruction. He is calling many out from their current situations to move to the land He has promised.
- Pray, Lord, give me ears to hear and eyes to see. Help me to walk faithfully with You in quick obedience and with deep abiding trust that You are who You say You are and You will do what You said You will do. Help me to not get distracted or cause myself to be the source of any delay in the process. Thank You that Your grace is more than enough and that You have hidden and protected me in Your love.
- Declare, the Lord is calling His lovers to come out from the place they have been. He is calling them forward on their path to the Promised Land. Our obedience is key to moving without delay from the wilderness to the Promised Land.
- Decree, I will trust the Lord my God. I will move when and where He says to move. I will come into the land He has prepared and promised. I live under His abundant blessing, grace and comprehensive covering of love.
