Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 42
6 “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
Isaiah 42:6-9
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
8 “I am the Lord, that is My name;
I will not give My glory to another,
Nor My praise to graven images.
9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Now I declare new things;
Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Trouble, trouble, trouble. I Am coming to cause the enemy trouble. I Am coming to be trouble and an unrelenting problem for wickedness. I’m calling you, inviting you to join Me in the trouble making.
Those with the enemy, the wicked and the oppressors will hold their heads in their hands at the realization of the trouble that has befallen them. I Am coming to be trouble and a problem for the wicked and those who oppress the people. Their lives of evil, wickedness, greed and vanity have been so easy. They have skipped along full of hate, ready to torment unwitting souls. They have taken pleasure in the suffering and the heartbreak, the losses of others. They have stolen people’s futures in broad daylight and then mocked them and laughed in their faces for attempting to seek justice, for protesting, for crying. But now I Am coming to heap trouble, trouble and more trouble on their heads.
13 The Lord will go forth like a warrior,
Isaiah 42:13-17
He will arouse His zeal like a man of war.
He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry.
He will prevail against His enemies.
14 “I have kept silent for a long time,
I have kept still and restrained Myself.
Now like a woman in labor I will groan,
I will both gasp and pant.
15 “I will lay waste the mountains and hills
And wither all their vegetation;
I will make the rivers into coastlands
And dry up the ponds.
16 “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.”
17 They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame,
Who trust in idols,
Who say to molten images,
“You are our gods.”
I will not sit idly back and watch the innocent suffer, watch the people struggle under the weight of these heavy burdens placed on their backs by the hands of the wicked. NO! ENOUGH! I Am coming to stir up trouble for the wicked, and what a troublesome storm it will be. I will be every sort of trouble they fear and despise.
I Am bringing daylight, exposure and truth. I Am revealing bank accounts, stock trades and hidden vast sums of ill gotten wealth. I Am pouring My sunlight onto these places, and they will gasp and be stunned as their secrets are exposed. Then the people will follow the money, and My light of truth will guide them to dens of iniquity, to evil playgrounds, to satanic worship centers. It will lead the truth seekers underground. It will lead to many dark bedrooms that are not in their homes, where fear and torment reign. It will lead to broken hearts filled with anger, bitterness, shame and disgust. My light of truth will shine on all manner of abuses, and it will not relent. The light will not relent until the whole truth is on full and open display. Names and identities of victims will be concealed for their privacy, protection and healing. But their voices will rise. They will not be silently ushered out of the picture. They will speak, and they will be a terrifying chorus of trouble for the wicked who hurt them and worked to destroy their humanity, their lives and their souls.
3 “A bruised reed He will not break
Isaiah 42:3-4
And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish;
He will faithfully bring forth justice.
4 “He will not be disheartened or crushed
Until He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law.”
My trouble will prevail upon and against the trouble of the wicked. My light and My healing power, My grace will rush in for the hurting. I Am coming to be trouble to the trouble makers. They are put on notice.
Trouble is coming to the office. Trouble is coming to the interviews. Trouble is coming to the public places. Trouble is coming to their homes. They will find trouble everywhere they look. I Am inescapable, and I Am coming as trouble for the wicked. Watch as the tables turn. Watch as the narratives fall apart. Watch as the tide of public opinion moves with My tsunami wave of truth. Trouble is coming for the wicked. They have no escape.
How to Respond
- Spend time in prayer and worship the Lord for His faithfulness, for being the Spirit of Truth, and for being the One who sees us in our affliction and trouble.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Come like a flood of trouble for the wicked. Come and light the path of truth that will disrupt the enemy’s long laid plans, paths and systems. Disrupt the work of the enemy and the wicked ones with him. Flip the tables. Bring embarrassment and shame on the heads of those who have mocked You and oppressed the people. Come Holy Spirit. Come as trouble for the wicked and as Rescuer for the broken.
- Declare, the Lord sees it all. He sees the plans, the schemes, the works and the evil committed by the wicked. He will not stand for it or tolerate it any longer. He is coming as the light of truth to expose all, and He is coming as the source of trouble for the wicked. He is coming to rescue those who need rescue, those who need a Father and those who need healing.
- Decree, I stand on the side of truth. I will see the recompense of the Lord. I will see the wicked removed from places of power and influence. I will see the Lord flip the fortunes, the tables, the narratives and the wave of public opinion into an onslaught of trouble for those who have unrelentingly chosen the side of wickedness.
