Today’s Reading:
Luke 19
On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus had to pass through Jericho. There lived a very wealthy man named Zacchaeus, who supervised all the tax collectors. He was very eager to see Jesus and kept trying to get a look at him through the massive crowd. Since Zacchaeus was a short man and couldn’t see over the heads of the people, he ran on ahead of everyone and climbed up a blossoming fig tree to get a glimpse of Jesus as he passed by. When Jesus got to that place, he looked up into the tree and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry on down, for I must stay at your house today!” So he scurried down the tree and found himself face-to-face with Jesus.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Magnify My Name in all the Earth. Make way for the King. The King is coming. Prepare the path with your songs and your decrees and with hopeful, jubilant expectation. I’m coming to your house today. I’m overshadowing your land today. Plans that were set and intended to go a particular direction will now be dead on arrival, will now be stopped in their tracks. Plans that had not even hatched yet, that were struggling to be formed will suddenly emerge as fully grown, mature and dominant. This is a time of reversals. My Presence causes great reversals. My Presence causes 180s, about faces and total redirects. It causes the plans of mens’ heart to change course.
As Jesus left to go with Zacchaeus, many in the crowd complained, “Look at this! Of all the people to have dinner with, he’s going to eat in the house of a crook.” Zacchaeus was amazed over his gracious visit to his home and joyously welcomed Jesus. Zacchaeus stood in front of the Lord and said, “Half of all that I own I will give to the poor. And Lord, if I have cheated anyone, I promise to pay them back four times as much as I stole.” Jesus said to him, “Your repentance shows that today life has come to you and your household, and that you are a true son of Abraham. The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.”

Plans that look like they are leading to disaster, to failure, to bring demise will be upended and their ugly underbelly will be exposed for all to see. The dark plans will be under a spotlight, and they will not proceed.
My Presence is invading meeting halls, bedrooms and private places. And I Am turning things around. You will look around, scratching your head in wonder, because those who once behaved as your enemy will suddenly be operating in truth. Those who once could be counted on for wickedness and perversion will be seated quiet, in their right minds praising the King of kings in the assembly. I’m coming to bring detours. I’m coming to bring encounters. I’m coming to reroute people and plans.
Jesus entered the temple area and forcibly threw out all the merchants from their stalls. He rebuked them, saying, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Father’s house is to be filled with prayer—a house of prayer, not a cave of bandits!’ ”
Luke 19:45-46 TPT
I Am coming to turn over the money changers’ tables. It will all seem like chaos and confusion, but it is My reset. I Am not the God of chaos and confusion. I Am the God of order. And though you may be perplexed at what you see, it is to bring restoration, right thinking, right paths and order. I’m moving to bring harmony where there has been chaos and dissonance. And I am disrupting, interrupting and destroying the conduits of that noise and dissonance that caused confusion and rendered chaos.
It may look for a while that chaos is increasing. But I Am rearranging chaos. I Am shaking out and removing dissonance, and I Am restoring harmony, clarity and order. Make way, the King is coming and He is bringing great gifts with Him. His reward is with Him. His turnaround and righting the ship is with Him.
How to Respond
- Prepare the way of the Lord with worship, thanksgiving and joyful expectation of good.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come and do Your disrupting and rearranging work. Thank You for being present and active. Your Presence changes everything. You alone can make enemies allies. You alone expose wicked plans and cause them to fail. You alone can make a barely formed righteous plan emerge fully mature and dominant on the scene. You alone can disrupt the disrupters and bring order from chaos. Thank You Lord for Your victorious work and for Your Presence on the scene and behind the scene.
- Declare, I magnify the Name of the Lord in all the Earth. He raises kings up and He takes others down. He moves the hearts of kings like channels of water. The Lord frustrates, exposes and brings failure to the plans of the wicked.
- Decree, the Lord is moving to rearrange, reset and reorder everything. He is dealing with men’s hearts, motives and plans. He is disrupting the works of evil and corruption and exposing them for all to see. He is snuffing out the conduits of chaos and dissonance — restoring harmony and order. He is overturning the money changers’ tables, and He is moving onto the scene bringing good gifts with Him.
