Isaiah 42
12 Yes! Look how you’ve made all your devoted lovers
Psalm 92:12-14
to flourish like palm trees,
each one growing in victory, standing with strength!
13 You’ve transplanted them into your heavenly courtyard,
where they are thriving before you,
14 for in your presence they will still overflow and be anointed.
Even in their old age they will stay fresh,
bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully.
The Lord says,
Hear My wisdom. Draw close for My instruction. I Am for you, and I Am leading you into paths everlasting. Let Me clothe you in My righteousness. Let Me fill you with the awareness of My goodness, My love, My truth and My power. Take all of these from Me. I give them freely. Allow Me to place the mantle of My favor on your shoulders — one that marks you as having an all access pass. My favor will take you many places you could not go otherwise. It takes you to many unexpected places of power, of exclusivity, of influence and authority. Accept the mantle of My favor and wear it with grace, confidence and humility. Receive it with all joy.
I love to bless you. I love to equip you. I love to work alongside you. Partner with Me. Join Me. Invite Me along with you. You will see the difference that My Presence makes, that My favor and wisdom and supernatural grace makes. You will see. Invite Me along, and come alongside what I’m doing too.
You will find a new level of fulfillment that you haven’t experienced. You will see your worth from My eyes. It’s a whole new way of operating. It’s still work, but it has grace attached to it. It’s not toiling. It’s satisfying work, and at the end of a day’s work in this mode of operating, you’ll say, it feels good. It feels good to work alongside My Lord and Master. It feels good to not be striving on My own. It feels good to work with purpose and to be under the covering of His grace. It feels good.
You will feel a new rhythm. You will hear and be surrounded by a new sound. The air will feel lighter, and the burden will be much lighter. You will feel like you finally got plugged into purpose. You will know without a doubt that you are right where you are supposed to be. Your desires for stability, for certainty, for direction — you will feel them fulfilled. They will look and feel differently than you thought they would, but they will be unmistakable. And you will say, it feels good to be in the middle of the Lord’s will. It feels good to be synced in to His purposes. It feels good to put My hands to meaningful work for His Kingdom. It feels good to do life with Him.
21 My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God. 22 And whatever we ask of him we receive, because we keep his commands. And by our beautiful intentions we continue to do what brings pleasure to him.
1 John 3:21-22
You will enjoy life again, and you will enjoy it in a way you never realized you could. You will continually remark or say to yourself, this feels good. This feels right. This feels like the Hand of the Lord is on it. This isn’t a temporal feel good. This is the the feel good that comes from the goodness and the pleasure of being in partnership with the Lord Almighty. That’s a satisfaction that can’t be manufactured or mistaken. That’s a different kind of feel good.
16 I will walk the blind by an unknown way
Isaiah 42:16
and guide them on paths they’ve never traveled.
I will smooth their difficult road
and make their dark mysteries bright with light.
These are things I will do for them,
for I will never abandon my beloved ones.
Ask to be in the center of My goodness. Bask in the fulfillment that comes from being in the center of My will. Allow Me to bring you to the place where you will be synced into My purposes. Don’t drag your heels. Allow Me to lead you to places you have never been. Even if it looks like the wilderness, if I draw you there, if I bring you there, I will be there with you, and I have purpose in it. Even in the wilderness, you will see and you will say, the goodness of the Lord is here. It is good. He is good.
How to Respond
- Draw near to the Lord and He will draw near to you.
- Ask the Lord to help you shed any unhelpful expectations for the future. Ask Him to help you shed any old habits that are weighing you down.
- Ask the Lord to help you purify your heart and to clear your mind to hear from Him .
- Declare that the Lord is good. He is for you. He is with you. And He is bringing you into His purposes.
- Declare that purpose and fulfillment and satisfying work is the will of the Lord in your life.
- Pray for a fresh vision and for the willingness to go where the Lord leads even if He takes you on an unfamiliar, unclear path.
