Isaiah 14:1-22
26 Confidence and strength flood the hearts
Proverbs 14:26-27
of the lovers of God who live in awe of him,
and their devotion provides their children
with a place of shelter and security.
27 To worship God in wonder and awe
opens a fountain of life within you,
empowering you to escape death’s domain.
The Lord says,
I Am your victory song. When My Presence comes crashing in on the scene, when I make my move that only I can do, when I by the sound of My voice command change, you will sing a great and powerful victory song. I Am and will be your victory song. Praise to Me will rise up spontaneously and with wild unbridled passion. Prepare your heart, your mouth, your lips to sing many raucous victory songs.
The Lord Yahweh will most certainly
Isaiah 14:1-4
show tender mercy to the Israelites.
He will choose them again and settle them in their own land.
Even foreigners will accompany them
and join with the Jewish people.
2 Nations will take them back to their own place,
and the Jews will own their enemies as their inheritance
in the land Yahweh gave them.
They will take their captors captive
and rule over those who once oppressed them.
3 In that day, when the Lord Yahweh has given you rest from your pain, trouble, and cruel bondage,4 you will jeer at the king of Babylon and recite this proverb: “Your oppressor has been stilled and your onslaught is over!
Like the taunt of Israel against the Babylonians. You will sing victory songs, and you will be the ones taunting those who have oppressed you. You will be the ones rising up and exalted over those who have made themselves to be so high and mighty. You will rise up and the tables will turn. The oppressors will become the oppressed. They will be oppressed by the force of My judgement and by the scorn of the people. They will be despised and ridiculed and put in the position of one trapped and powerless, who must obey their masters.
18 The naïve demonstrate a lack of wisdom,
Proverbs 14:18-19
but the lovers of wisdom are crowned with revelation-knowledge.
19 Evil ones will pay tribute to good people
and eventually come to be servants of the godly.
Yes the tables will turn and these will eat the bitter food of judgement and of justice. They will be seen for who they really are. Their deeds and schemes will be exposed, and the people will sing many raucous songs of praise to Me and songs of ridicule to these felons, these criminals, these power hungry ones who are aligned and even controlled by the forces of darkness because of the entrance they have given to darkness in their lives.
4 They live in luxury while exploiting my people!
Psalm 14:4-5
Won’t these workers of wickedness ever learn?
They don’t ever think of praying to God.
5 But look at them now, in panic, trembling with terror.
For God is on the side of his godly lovers.
Don’t be unaware My little ones of the darkness that has seeped in and is trying to permeate every aspect of life. Don’t be naive to the schemes of the enemy, and don’t act as if you are powerless against these. You have power and authority given you by the hand of your Savior and Redeemer, Christ Jesus. Rise up. Take the higher ground. And be ready to sing victory songs, songs of worship and songs to ridicule the failures and the demise of the enemy.
Get your practice singing now. Sing songs of praise. Sing songs of joy. Sing forth the victory. Call it into today. The victory is won! Use your mouth, your songs, your declarations, your worship to pull it into today. Declare no more delay.
Let My Spirt fill you until you are overflowing. Let yourself be consumed by the force of My love. Operate from here — from this place of up higher living, where all is resolved and the enemy is beneath. Live from this place of it is finished, and call forth those promises into today. Exercise your faith and authority to pull My promises into the now.
Watch for My flip. Watch for My table turning move. Watch for My suddenly. Watch as I stun the world.
How to Respond
- Live from a place of joy and thanksgiving.
- Rejoice and be lighthearted. Do something today that brings you pure joy.
- Worship the Lord.
- Draw near to the Lord and ask Him to fill you till you are overflowing with His tangible Presence and love.
- Declare that the Lord is bringing justice.
- Declare no more delay in the administration of the Lord’s justice for the people.
- Declare that the Lord will move in a swift and decisive way to turn the tables on the plans of the enemy.
