Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 61
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Isaiah 61:1-4
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
4 Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Priests of conviction are arising. Priests with clean hands and a pure heart are arising. Their voices are being amplified, and they will shout down the darkness in the church. They will tear down the cobwebs and the evil that has been lurking and even thriving in the church. Priests in the Catholic Church are rising up, and they will roar, NO MORE! They are rising to clean house. They have the Spirit of the Lord upon them. They have walked and do walk with Jesus, and they will be filled with zeal for MY HOUSE. They will turn over the tables and the throw out the money changers. They will shout down evil. They will call a spade a spade. They will have fire in their eyes and no fear of man in their hearts. They will call out the pope. They will call out the rotten stinking sepulchers who surround him, who call themselves high priests. They minister not to Me. They minister to themselves. They minister to their greed, lusts and hunger for power. They minister to their task masters, and they minister to their father the devil. They minister not to Me.
6 But you will be called the priests of the Lord;
Isaiah 61:6-9
You will be spoken of as ministers of our God.
You will eat the wealth of nations,
And in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion,
And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion.
Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land,
Everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 For I, the Lord, love justice,
I hate robbery in the burnt offering;
And I will faithfully give them their recompense
And make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Then their offspring will be known among the nations,
And their descendants in the midst of the peoples.
All who see them will recognize them
Because they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.
The pure priests are rising. The pure honest priests who live and minister in My Presence and carry My heart are rising. Holy and good and honorable priests will be seen as timid no longer. They are being filled with the fire of My Spirit, and they will roar like lions. The men after My own heart in the priesthood will cleanse the temple. They will not tolerate the filth that has been allowed, encouraged, covered up, smoothed over, and paid for to go on any longer. They will have a fiery zeal for My House and My people, the sheep of their pasture. They will once again be known as men who lead people to the Lord, as men who offer sound spiritual advice, as men who minister to preserve families, to call up community to rise to a higher standard, to charge the people to lives of purity, honesty and love. I Am partnering with My lovers in the Catholic Church. I Am partnering with the pure and honest priests who love Me to clean out My House, to cleanse the temple and to restore a plumb line and a high standard of integrity, honor, purity and love to the people.
10 I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
Isaiah 61:10-11
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.
I’m taking back My House, and I Am restoring My sheep to safe and well cared for pastures. My shepherds will be fierce like David, not weak, anemic and silent as the ones you have known. This is a new day for the priesthood. I Am calling My pure ones up, and they will be baptized with Holy Spirit fire. They will wage war to reclaim what is rightfully Mine, to restore My House and to bring My people back to a land of safety and honor. My Kingdom and My priests are fierce. They will be known as ones upon whom not to tread, yet their hearts are pure and their love is true and right. This is a new day for My Church. This is a new day for My House. This is a new day for My Catholic Church. Let the true worshipping priests lead the way.
How to Respond
- Be one who ministers to the Lord through worship, prayer and reminding Him of His Word.
- Be one who practices true religion as the Lord describes it — caring for the widow and the orphan and keeping one’s self unpolluted from the world.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come with the baptism of fire for Your holy, pure and righteous priests in the Catholic Church. Purify and cleanse the church of all that has tainted and polluted it, of all that has brought harm and all that has caused Your people to wander from the faith. Empower Your righteous ministers of the Gospel in the Catholic Church to take it back for Your Name’s sake and for the good of the people.
- Declare, the Lord is raising up a company of priests who have the heart of Jesus and Holy Spirit fire. They are rising with a zeal for the Lord’s House within the Catholic Church, and they will reclaim what is the rightful possession of the Lord’s from wicked and corrupted leaders.
- Decree, I will pray for, stand with and encourage the pure priests of the Catholic Church as they rise up to reclaim the church for the Lord.
