Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 28
Proverbs 24
Psalm 36
7 How precious is Your mercy, God!
Psalm 36:7-9
And the sons of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
8 They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house;
And You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights.
9 For the fountain of life is with You;
In Your light we see light.
The Lord says,
You will eat the delectable meat of justice at the table I set for you in the presence of your enemies, and I will personally pour the gravy of delight on top of it. I will do wonders so amazing in your life that your heart will sing. I will not only prepare a feast for you in the presence of your enemies. The main course will be justice, and to that I will even add delight. I will add to you things so beautiful, so wonderful, so surprising, so captivating that you will be filled with delight.
I Am reaching beyond your needs and fulfilling deep heart desires. Desires fulfilled are a tree of life. I Am pouring out delight in your life on top of the justice you will already enjoy. You will eat, and you will have your fill of justice. The justice that I serve will be more than a single portion per person. I will serve justice in super-abundant portions, and it will be glorious.
3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
Psalm 36:3-4
He has ceased to be wise and to do good.
4 He plans wickedness on his bed;
He sets himself on a path that is not good;
He does not reject evil.
Your enemies too — the enemies of Mine and the enemies of the people — will also be served justice in due measure, but it will taste like sawdust and maggots in their mouths. Yet they will be required to eat their full portion. Served atop of their justice will be a runny au jus of fear and heartburn along with a constantly replaying loop of how they got here.
For the ones who have utterly rejected Me, their only small relief will be to blame the failures of another. Many of those who eat the sour meal of justice will only be sorry that they got caught. No true repentance will be in their hearts.
Yet others will have their eyes opened to how far down the wrong path they allowed themselves to travel, and they will make a U-Turn in their heart.
21 For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim,
Isaiah 28:21
He will be stirred up as in the Valley of Gibeon,
To do His task, His unusual task,
And to work His work, His extraordinary work.
I Am causing spring to sprout and blossom and bloom forth in rapid fashion. I Am causing the new to spring forth and change, change, change to blossom. Be at peace and at rest in your soul My dear one. I have overcome. I have won, and I Am working all things together for the good of those who love Me and are called according to My purpose. In this hour, I Am even working things together for the good of those who don’t yet love Me. I Am working things together for the good of all those who have not sided with wickedness, darkness and evil. These are unprecedented times, and I Am moving in unprecedented ways.
17 I will make justice the measuring line
Isaiah 28:17
And righteousness the level;
Then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
And the waters will overflow the secret place.
Watch as I rout the enemy before your very eyes. Watch as I turn the tables, as I overthrow, and as I cause these evil-aligned ones to back themselves into a wall. They will have no place to run or hide, and no one will respond when they cry out. Yes, there will be arrests. And yes, they will face the world for the wickedness and oppression that they have wrought. They will have to look the innocent in the face, and justice will be served.
How to Respond
- Choose grace in this hour. Give grace to your loved ones, your neighbors and even strangers as all are reacting differently to the chaos and swirling and tumult around them.
- Be one who carries peace. Dwell in the Lord’s perfect peace and cultivate peace through building your trust in Him and strengthening yourself with the Lord’s promises and reminders of His faithfulness and follow through.
- Don’t rejoice when you see the wicked fall. Instead, pray that they would have repentant hearts and seek the Lord for salvation of their soul.
- Declare, the Lord is mighty and strong. None can compare to Him. He is not anxious or worried about the outcome. He is Lord of all, and He is moving and intervening as He desires.
- Declare, the Lord is bringing justice, and all will eat at one of two tables of justice.
- Decree, the Lord is faithful and all-creative. He is setting a table for us in the presence of our enemies. And He will serve us a super-abundant portion of justice for all that has been lost, stolen or broken by the hands of the enemy. To this He will even add more, and we will be greatly satisfied and filled with delight.
