Today’s Reading:
Acts 1-2
2 Corinthians 12
9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
As I was sitting with the Lord this morning, He said,
My grace is sufficient. My grace is sufficient to help you make choices. My grace is sufficient to breathe life into situations, conversations, relationships and connections. My grace is sufficient to stir things up, to turn things around, to rearrange the seats, the positions and the voices. My grace is here to completely stir things up and bring in a fresh tide of new — new faces, new perspectives, new voices, new ideas, new boldness, new strength and a steadfast commitment to truth. My grace is here to stir things up, and not much will remain in its same position.
All will get drawn into the swirl I Am causing — of change, rearrangement, repositioning. It will bring new perspective, disorientation and then it will cause people to plant their feet in a different place. It will cause people to reorient themselves from these new true yet unexpected positions. It will cause people’s vision to clear, and it will enable them to see out clearly on the horizon for the first time. It will cause a change of heart, change of mind, change of position, change of perspective, and it will bring clear vision, clear hearing. It will cut away the the haze, the distractions, the noise and the rancor in the atmosphere. It will bring a great clearing and cleansing to the atmosphere, and it will allow the people to see truth. I Am stirring things up with My glory, and nothing that My glory touches remains the same.
2 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.
Acts 2:1-4
As I asked the Lord to say more I began to see a beautiful swirl of magnificent pastel rainbow colors in a vortex cloud. I could see people on a ship in the ocean and the glory cloud vortex was over the water but also freely moving into the space above and beside the ship. I asked the Lord to help me articulate what I was seeing, and He said,
My grace provides the suction, and My glory is the light. My grace is drawing many to My glorious light, to My glory — and this is changing hearts, changing minds, changing lives, changing assignments, changing names, titles and understanding. My grace is the drawing force to My glory, and My glory is where truth is seen and experienced and witnessed plainly. Truth can’t be unseen or unheard or unbelieved. Truth is unchanging, and truth requires change from the witness.
7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
Acts 1:7-8
My grace draws, My glory changes and My love sends. You are sent ones, and new assignments are being released in My glory for this new time, this new season. You are to be a fixed point in the swirl and the stirring that I Am causing to bring change to the people. All are called. Come.
How to Respond
- Position yourself in readiness and flexibility to move at the stirring of the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, You are most welcome here. We need so much change, so come and stir things up for Your good purposes. Stir things up, and change people’s minds, hearts, perspectives and positions. Clear people’s vision and hearing, and make it so they can see, experience and align with truth. Move me where You want me to be, so I can be best positioned to serve Your purposes and people in this time.
- Declare, the Lord is causing a great stirring that is drawing and changing people in His glory, then He is sending them out by His love to the work that He has put in their hearts.
- Decree, I submit my will and life to the Lord for change, for repositioning, for new perspective and for right thinking. I will align with truth as the Lord reveals it, and I will obediently and quickly take up the assignments He gives me.
