Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 43-44

43 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel,
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.

Isaiah 43:1-2

The Spirit of the Lord says,
The path is winding, and you have low visibility. You are coming up to a curve you have never seen or experienced before, but My all-sufficient grace for change is with you, and it will be with you there. My all-sufficient grace for change will empower you. It will strengthen you. It will impart wisdom in you that astounds you and even causes you to back up a few steps as if catching the powerful throw of a baseball. It will astound you and surprise you like that, but you will catch it, and you will own it. You will know precisely what to do with the wisdom I impart to you like catching the hit of a fast ball coming directly to you.

18 “Do not call to mind the former things,
Or ponder things of the past.
19 “Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
20 “The beasts of the field will glorify Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I have given waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My chosen people.
21 “The people whom I formed for Myself
Will declare My praise.

Isaiah 43:18-21

My grace for change will be unfamiliar, but you will have a knowing that I have imparted exactly what you need, that I have provided exactly what you need. My grace for change is here. My all-sufficient grace for change is here, and it is traveling with you down dark and winding, uncertain roads with low visibility. My Spirit is strengthening you, emboldening you and empowering you to move forward in bold and courageous faith come what may. My all-sufficient grace for change is moving you forward, is bringing you to a new pace and new day, where the rules of operating are very different.

23 Shout for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done it!
Shout joyfully, you lower parts of the earth;
Break forth into a shout of joy, you mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it;
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob
And in Israel He shows forth His glory.
24
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,
“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
25 Causing the omens of boasters to fail,
Making fools out of diviners,
Causing wise men to draw back
And turning their knowledge into foolishness,
26 Confirming the word of His servant
And performing the purpose of His messengers.
It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’
And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’
And I will raise up her ruins again.

Isaiah 44:23-26

We are moving to glorious days, to shining days, to spectacular days. To get there we must travel through what seem like dark days, but these dark days hold the hidden treasure of many victories. All of these victories — victory after victory after victory are leading you to the new day, the Victorious Day, the crowning achievement day that begins the new time and the new way. You will see many victories — victory after victory in the dark days, and they will lead you to the shining day of victory, of capital victory, of implausible victory, of very definitive victory. And a new time will begin. A new way will begin.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord regardless of what you see.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for Your all-sufficient grace that helps me to navigate well through change and dark days. Thank You that You have hidden many great victories in the darkness, and we will accumulate those victories and reach the glorious days You have planned for us. Help us to walk in wisdom, in courage and with bold faith into the low visibility days ahead.
  • Declare, the Lord’s great grace is all-sufficient for the changes that we will face. He is bringing us through dark days marked by many victories into glorious days of crowning victory.
  • Decree, the Lord’s grace is all-sufficient for me. I will walk where He leads, and I will be guided by His grace and wisdom. I will not back down, and I will not relent until I see the capital, crowning, definitive victory and the glorious sunrise of a new day, a new time and a new way.
