Today’s Reading:
Psalm 146
Isaiah 59

15 Yes, truth is lacking;
And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey.
Now the Lord saw,
And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.
16 And He saw that there was no man,
And was astonished that there was no one to intercede;
Then His own arm brought salvation to Him,
And His righteousness upheld Him.
17 He put on righteousness like a breastplate,
And a helmet of salvation on His head;
And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing
And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle.
18 According to their deeds, so He will repay,
Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies;
To the coastlands He will make recompense.

Isaiah 59:15-18

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My justice is knocking. My justice is knocking at the door, and it isn’t known for being polite. This isn’t a warning knock. It is not a request for invitation, and I’m not coming to sit at the kitchen table. My justice is knocking. We can do this the easy way or the hard way, but justice is here. Justice is at the front door knocking, and the threshold will be breached momentarily. My justice is at the ready like a SWAT team ready to invade the home of a law breaker, of a serious, violent criminal.

19 So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west
And His glory from the rising of the sun,
For He will come like a rushing stream
Which the wind of the Lord drives.
20 “A Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord.
21
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”

Isaiah 59:19-21

My justice is for America, for the people, for the promises made at this country’s founding, for the covenant with Me over this land. My justice is knocking at the door. It’s at the doors of the homes of thieves, liars, crooks and ones who have committed high treason. The walls are closing in, and I have them surrounded. I will purge this land I love of traitors, criminals and thieves who have no remorse. Their time has run out, and My long thread of patience has worn thin. I will move, and My justice is moving in. This is the land I love. This is the land I love, and My justice has come a-knocking. It’s best to come to the door. She won’t knock long. Today is a day of justice.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord, thank You that Your justice is on the scene. Thank You that You have seen and not been pleased that truth has stumbled in the street and justice is far from us. Bring your justice and restore our land Lord. Heal our land with Your mighty move of justice that only You can do. We love You Lord.
  • Declare, justice is knocking at the door of those who have knowingly and willingly committed crimes against the people of America and have done so without remorse for personal gain.
  • Decree, I will see and experience the justice of the Lord, and I will be part of the company of people who bring renewal and change in it’s wake.
