22 So here’s what I’ve learned through it all:
Psalm 55:22-23
Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord,
and measureless grace will strengthen you.
23 He will watch over his devoted lovers,
never letting them slip or be overthrown.
He will send all my enemies to the pit of destruction.
Murderers, liars, and betrayers will face an untimely death.
My life’s hope and trust is in you, and you’ll never fail to rescue me!
What’s Right Has Taken a Hit
The Lord says,
My people have taken a hit. They are experiencing a forceful blow to what is right, and they are smarting in pain. This is a time where right and wrong are very clear. Both are activated, vying for attention and seeking who will take their side.
Though the truth and what is right has taken a blow, will you still choose it? Will you still side with it? Will you still fight for it?
As the pain of the blow to what’s right subsides, will you still remember to fight for her? Will you carry the burden of truth? Will you shoulder the weight of the promise?
The promise feels painful now, because it seems impossible. It seems unattainable. It seems dead. But I tell you none of My promises are dead. They are very much alive. Carry them in your heart and remember them often. I tell you indeed, not a single one of them will fall to the ground.
Yes, I let the enemy get a blow in. It’s good to show weakness. It’s part of a strategy when you are strong. The enemy looks at and taunts your bruised face, My bruised face, and he thinks that he has the upper hand. I tell you, he most certainly does not. He never has the upper hand. It just looks that way. I will surely flip him over, and crush him decisively.
The Lord’s Triumphant Turnaround
The Lord says,
Watch for My triumphant turnaround. Watch as I flip these circumstances completely around. Watch as I move swiftly, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, and change the outcome, change reality, change the whole story. Watch as I put My foot on the throat of the enemy. Victory will come in an instant, at a moment when it is least likely and least expected.
That flip in circumstances will usher great peace into the earth. I will fill the earth with My Glory. And many will come, will be drawn and will seek to have uninterrupted access to Me, My teachings and My heart.
My Lovers are the Shining Ones
The Lord says,
I Am causing joy to overflow in the hearts of My lovers. I Am causing anticipation to rise. I Am causing purpose to come into focus. I Am causing confidence to grow, and I Am causing power to be ignited. They will rise and are rising. They are standing. They are occupying. They are shining with the glorious and uncounterfeitable light and glory of My countenance. My lovers are shining brightly in this hour, and these are ones who can be trusted. Look for the ones who are shining. These are Mine, and these are trustworthy. Many are double minded, two-faced, cowards and double agents. Many don’t know who they are or to what side they belong. The shining ones are on My side. They hear from Me. They move with My voice, and they can be trusted. I have tested them in the crucible, and they will not be moved.
Get your hopes up. Celebrate now. It’s about to get really good.
How to Respond
- Don’t let your heart shrink at the major blows to truth, justice and what is right. Take these to the Lord in prayer. He sees them, and He is moving.
- Declare that the Lord is using these blows to what is right as an opportunity to catch the enemy off-guard, crush the wickedness that the enemy is spreading, and turn things around for good.
- Declare that the Lord is moving to bring a mighty, instantaneous flip in circumstances.
- Get your hopes up.
- Rejoice in the Lord.
- Steep yourself in the Lord until you radiate with His Presence.
- Look for those who are shining with the light of Him. They are the trustworthy ones.
